@perezd1333 I tried 2 wifii tether my phone some pages wont load up the only browser I could get 2 work was Internet Explorer do they have a fix keep me posted also do u think this will work on the Connect? Also I did click the donate bar do u guys really get the $?

It says I don't have my phone rooted. So I rooted my phone with miketoolz still said the same thing. How 2 u reset the phone?

Hey. I want to get this phone with Metro and tether to my laptop as a substitute for ALL my internet needs (minus downloading torrents, obviously). What is the minimum monthly plan required? I hear all this "Unlimited Metro Web" or "Mobile Web" and I have no idea how exactly the 4G works. Basically, I want to visit any website I want and stream short videos and music on a reasonably fast connection. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

@FUCKxUxNxURxMOTHERx2 i dont think u should replace ur home internet with this phone it will get anoying turnig the wifi on and off also will sometimes turn off on u when ur online and the lowest 4g plan for metro is $40 a month i think its good cuz the 4g is fast its faster than my att home internet and every thing is really unlimited.and yes you could stream videos even movies on it HQ movies with no lag. If u have more question ask

im having a major issue here and i would appreciate anyone that can help me out. i have a rooted lg esteem phone. i live in orange county ca (thought it could be relevant to mention this) ... anyways i installed wifi tether. everything seems to be in check. the wifi tether connects to my laptop and its showing that the connection is fine. problem is that it does NOT connect to the internet as if there was no connection even tho everything seems to be in place. anyone know how i can fix this prob

@RGOC2012 thats why dont root your phoneand get rid of the wifi tether app ...go to android market and look for "quick settings" app you dont need rooting or other crap
