@RidinRimz23 well i thnik there is a difference between techno and electro and i call this one electro. Techno in my head is what was made in the early 2000's. Now it's more electro since it's less dance like it were before. But i agree that there is frickin too much genre now. Dubstep, house, deep house, hardcore, electro, electro/house and such.

@Shadowho Its really hard to say. I think this sounds techno-ish..atleast today's techno, how my friend puts it. I'm not very experienced with this so I can be wrong. The original does sound electro to me. What trips me out is that Beatport has this remix as both techno and electro, two tracks each same length in time, sound the same but one is labeled electro and the other techno...weird.

Btw didn't follow the contest but I heard about it through the interview MosDam did with Beatportal. This remix is now 3rd most downloaded track amongst all of Deadmau5' music on beatport.

You gotta give MAJOR RESPECTS to the guy who went through TWO rounds of contest, and came out winner (and apparently there were 1000+ entries).

The production quality is pretty good, but this won't be a popular track at all. We can tell mau5 himself picked it, since while he produces house and electro, he actually enjoys and likes minimal and progressive house more, all in-line with this track. I think Ali Nadem should have won.
