im getting this with straight talk unlimited everything for 45.oo a mth. which is perfect for me. one thing though does walmart sell the head phone adapter plug. thats like the only thing i dont like about it but as long as i can get the right adapter for it and use it with my head phones then its all good.

I used to be crushed by my cellphone bill. But then I switched to Net10 and started saving $40 a month. I then realized how much my previous service provider was overcharging me. I get the exact same services, only more reliable because I have never had the misfortune of a dropped call, but I get it for $40 less. Unless you like throwing money away, join Net10 and save bundles. Bt Dubs the T401G is great, I've had it for a couple of months and no problems

i upgraded to a LG Rumor Touch already and i think its a awesome phone!! but the samsung t401g is still good. theres only one downside... there was no free roaming internet access so i got a virgin mobile phone

Awesome phone! I got mine a couple weeks ago with the net10 $50 unlimited everything deal at walmart and I've been loving the bluetooth, camera, mp3 player and qwerty. Really is a great phon, especially with net10 coverage:)

I am thinking about getting this for mainly web browsing and multimedia and from the information i have i believe it support Java Applications, but i do not know for sure so if you can confirm this i would be very happy :D. @SuperShyshy14 It costs more than Tracfone for your service days ($15/mo. minimum); but you pay less per minute for talk time, even with Tracfone's "double minutes" card. I did the math.

Basically Tracfone is good for an "emergency" phone only, as the minutes cost too much to use it on any regular basis, IMO. I also have Verizon prepay ($10/mo.), which I use only for in-network calls (99¢/day, talk all you want), with Net10 for text msging and out-of-network calls. Not sure where you get $60.

@TheTashilicous9112 call net 10/tracfone and tell them you want to transfer your current minutes to a new phone and they will ask your for the phones sim number and a few other things and then your new phone should receive the minutes

I ordered my phone from their website -- it's charging me 5 cents for text messaging and they won't fix it! :( The CSR told me earlier today that because the codes are showing 1.00 that it is charging me 3 cents, but they're WRONG!! Or lying -- not sure which. I have screenshots to prove it now. Basically I like the phone -- it has a lot of nice features; but having to deal with their third-rate customer service is a nightmare more often than not.

@churchmousie, call net10 and then go to features, tell the lady your phone has been charging you .5 cents instead of .3 then she will ask you for your serial number tell her it then she will tell you to go to prepaid and code entry mode and then enter what she says and mine said 1.00 also but she gave me a code and then it charged me .3 after all the codes. @fronkmonk I think normally that's the way things should be done; but it didn't work that way for me. CSR (with a thick, heavy foreign accent -- very difficult to understand) just kept repeating that the codes were correct on their (computer's) end -- it was like a broken record! :( It's still cheaper than Verizon text messaging (10¢/msg.); but Net10 should be slapped by the gov't. for false advertising and shoddy business practices!

@churchmousie, i dint relize this untill yesterday that you were right i thought it was suppose to charge 2.5 minutes for each picture that i send and it was costing me 5.5 and then i called and then they gave me codes and that still didnt help and then i called back and they said that there was nothing they could do for me and i got PISSED off and so you were right but they do suck

i strongly recommend the samsung T401G its a fun cell phone i am on it right now its only 3 cents per in/out text 10 cents a minute within the US 15 cents per minute outside of the US it has great features a great phone for starters and pros :) hope this has helped ~zammymaster12345
