just got back from Austin from a biz trip. Ridiculous city full of pretentious pot smokers wearing birkenstocks. Ludicrous. Nobody cares what Austin thinks. The rest of the great state of Texas is embarrassed by Austin.

When Texas passes the same law what is Austin going to do then? Hopefully every state in the great USA will pass such a law. Illegal immigrants are criminals and should be arrested and deported. Thank God Arizona is taking the steps necessary. Liberals suck and should be deported to Somalia.

I too am a LEGAL immigrant, a recently naturalized citizen and an Austin resident and am completely offended. There may be some racism involved here, but the does not change the fact the we are a nation based upon the rule of law. Illegal is exactly that. Mexican, Chinese or Muldavian, all should come through the front door, don't sneak in the back door. Go back home, get in line with the rest of us and immigrate.

Austin is a sanctuary city. Like the current administration they don't care about the safety & security of U.S. citizens and refuse to enforce existing immigration law that they have sworn to uphold. As cover, they accuse those of us who simply insist that existing law be enforced and U.S. sovereignty be protected as racist.

I resent people who come to America illegaly no matter what nationality they are. Illegal is Illegal. Los Angeles is the toilet bowl of California when it comes to immigration rights. Give them a path to citizenship just like you received. If it takes them 7 years (how it took you that long is beyond me) then that's the process - but rounding them up at the cost of the tax payers, making them criminals, sending them home, so they can come back and repeat the process is the definition of stupidity.
