same thing happened to me, when i first got the phone i hated it, buttons didnt work and it sketched out alot, turning off all the time and what not, so i exchanged it for a new one hoping it would work better and it did, ive had it for several weeks now and it works like a charm way better than the iphone for sure in every way, has way more features too

just saying, if you buy a phone for camera you're retarded and 2nd of all. The camera has an option in the menu where you can change it to the full 5mp. Some of the phones come set on 3.2 which is stupid of motorola but don't return it...

yoo sneak get the verizon rogue. i have it the camera quality is amazing. its a 3.0 megapixle camera with prestine quality.its a touch screen and slides up just like the droid.

I own a Droid myself and love it. Everything about it is good except for the camera. However thats a software issue and they will be releasing a firmware update on the 11th thats supposed to fix some camera issues. So if you havent returned it already, i suggest you hold onto it and see how it performs then.

I'm suprized you didn't like the camera...I don't have the Droid, but, I do own the Tmobile Motorola Cliq which is the equivalent to the Verizon Droid (same android tech) and they both have that 5mpx camera....an I haven't had a problem...after a few adjustments in the settings menu I was good to go....although I would love to have a flash on the Cliq...I am content with the camera on here. Sorry to hear you didn't like the phone though.....Go with the HTC Touch Pro 2...I'm sure u will likethat
