What are you guys talking about? Ruki and Yuu look and sound nothing alike. Their style and sound are completely different. You know who does look and sound a lot like Ruki...Byo of Screw...when I first watched Screw's pv for Death's Door my mouth about dropped to the floor when I saw and heard Byo. But anywho...Ruki and Yuu are not similar at all lol.

I agree with everyone else here - Yuu has a beautiful voice, which is wonderful because some of the bands nowadays sound similar, no different in the range of their voices, etc. It's been quite a while since I've listened to 176BIZ. I actually just randomly found this video going through some of my old favorites. :)

Is he gasping for air or is that his style of singing? Because it sounds that he's not breathing right and he is gasping for air. If you don't breath right it will take a tole on your voice. Then you won't be able to sing anymore and need an operation to fix that problem. He has such a nice voice I hope he doesn't lose it! don't bite my head off I'm not dissing the lead singer, just concerned.

If you listen to the new album, he reduced his gasping by a good margin. Maybe they put a filter on the microphone or he tries to control it a bit more, but it doesn't sound as unhealthy anymore.

Anyway, yes, his voice is great.

@Yoyoze you know what I think that was, he was singing from his throat rather than his diaphragm like they teach you in vocal training so its easy to get winded when trying to hold notes. But it does sort of fit when he does it here, I actually sung it aloud with the *gasp*.
