I had a upper, fully erupted tooth removed last week. Basically the tooth cracked while the dentist was taking it out because it was so decayed. A chunk of the tooth felt down my throat and I had to cough it up. The tooth kept breaking and it felt like the crown was completely gone. I did feel the dentist pulling my roots. Now the shocking part of all this is I didn't feel any pain and I didn't feel the pressure so many claim to feel. It was a pretty calm and pain free experience.
had my #17 tooth removed last week, four days later i was in extreme pain, found out i had dry socket, what pain i had thank god for the pain medication.
mine hurts so badly and its so hard to find a dentist for this sort of thing in my area that i'm seriously considering pulling it myself its no where near the bone yet so i figure it wouldn't take too much effort 4 200 mg and counting today and the stupid thing just won't quit. i'm getting so desperate :'(
The reason why this video isn't as scary as the others on youtube is because this tooth is fully erupted which is easier to remove. The other videos show impacted teeth. Nonetheless this dentist takes his time and did a very clean job. compared to another video on here of some dentist swinging back and fourth and almost ripping the guys entire jaw out trying to take out a tooth.
dude that was an amazing catch with the forcep holy shit

Some cases are different. Depends on if the wisdom tooth is erupted or impacted, and depends on how many teeth you're getting out too.
