Seriously, Beats of rage sucks.

Sorry for you guys, but the only excellent thing about Beats of Rage was the epic soundtrack (trance / club / electro tracks)

This is an old mod though, and it's basically just a remake of the first remix of the first game or something. You should check more of the latest games now, like super Fighting spirits, Rocket Viper, Sega Brawlers Megamix(my project), Guardian heroes Warpath, and others.
