Cell Pre-human absorbtion is weaker than both Android 17 and 18. Cell post-human absorbtion is much stronger than Android 17 and 18. There is a reason cell absorbed thousands upon thousands of humans. If he attempted to absord the two androids without that extra power they would have in fact killed him. So you initial statement is only half true.

Even Piccolo stated in the manga that Cell is much stronger than the androids. That is why Cell absorbed more people so he is strong enough to take on both 17 and 18 at once. Dude I read the entire manga so yeah.

Actually, Android 16 is much stronger than Android 17 or 18. The Dr. was afaid when 18 wanted to release 16, due to the fact that if 16 chose to kill 17 and 18 he could which would make cell useless. Also Android 16 would have been able to easily destroy cell pre-human absorbtion. He gave cell enough trouble post-human absorbtion. In short Android 16 is stronger than 17 and 18 by great lentghs.

@Androids17and18rulez Yeah it made them less of a threat and less creepy, but...cell is very fucking creepy in his first form, his final was a pretty good one he had a nice sense of humor and was pure evil, but I still prefer the original cell hes alot more creepy....this was the scariest saga to me when I was a childhood due to androids and cells first form absorbing innocent people especially his first scene, the themes were also scary including this one, dr gero and imperfect cell theme.

If present Goku was killed by the androids, she would most likely remain evil. Im trying my best to explain this but this situation requires common sense and watching all android and cell saga to figure it all out.

And you're right, but you must not let the fact that Goku's death mean they became evil, stayed evil, or stopped them becoming good.

The androids were diff in terms of nature & power in the present.

The present Cell would look like a foetus-like thing, like you saw in the episodes. Krillin & Trunks destroyed it however, if they DIDN'T then by the time baby trunks (next comment)

So like bulma created the device in the present, Trunks woulda used that, only to be killed by present Cell.

Dr. Gero had this ladybug tracking device that detects Goku's training and that information all goes to the androids minds so there power lever increases even further. If present Cell and the ladybug was not found then present Cell would start out perfect as he is born. Even stronger than Majin Buu because of all the information that Cell will receive from Goku's history and the fight against Cell.

You misunderstand the ladybug device's purpose, it got information to send to Dr Gero and his lab, and also helped with Cell's knowledge (I think)

However it did not increase his power. The tracking device as we know only got information from before Namek. However it's like Akira just planned Cell's power to rise exponentially during his transformations.

To keep up with the Saiyan's powers.

That was his full potential as a bio-android. The ladybug device could give the information about Ssj3 Goku by the time trunks was an older teenager, sure. But that doesn't grant Cell power. It just grants him knowledge.

He also couldn't have been born perfect because he needs the androids.

The ladybug didn't track any information of Goku becoming a Super Saiyan. So the ladybug device can't justify why the androids were stronger than themselves in Trunks' timeline.

Also, the androids are always released before Cell is.

So even if the ladybug device granted power the androids don't recieve it, and it's obsolete for Cell.
