Without hunters, the population of game will increase to a point where they reach carrying capacity and they run out of food or get diseases which then wipes them out completely. You choose, do you want hunters and no more dear or do you want hunters and have dear? Thumbs up so that anti-hunters are more educated.

@BIGD6625 The thing a lot of these tree hugers don't get is that hunters have more respect for nature then PETA ever will. They understand the need for balance, and help manage wild life. PETA just sits behind computers and protest signs and never get out in the field and actually see how we help wild life stay in check. We are part of the food chain, they need to learn to accept that.

I only hunt what I am going to eat, I am not a trophy hunter. If I can't eat it, I won't hunt it. I thinking hunting is way better then eating meat from the super market, at least the animal I eat wasn't cooped up with millions of others in a shitty environment and treated like shit then crudely slaughtered. It lived a nice life and died a clean quick death. Give me that over super market beef any day.

On the topic of anti-hunting and such, I have seen more conservation from hunters in the form of culling, land management, population control and supplemental feeding of wildlife than any other "group" on the planet. We hunters are the reason the wildlife population is so strong in the United States. 

Here in Louisiana we have what is called DMAP (Deer Management Assistance Program) to have the LDWF (Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries) help grow stronger deer.
