@i8Brick "Gone Fishin'" (1997) is an under appreciated classic buddy comedy. I thought Joe Pesci and Danny Glover were a good pair for that type of film. I think Joe Pesci is great in comedies like "The Super" (1991), "8 Heads In A Duffelbag" (1997), and of course "My Cousin Vinny" (1993). How could you not laugh at him? Isn't he funny like a clown? Isn't he here to amuse you?
@gedaman : Try the comedy section at FYE...that's where I found my copy. It's been relegated to the 'Nice Price' series, which means you can get it fairly cheap.
@recordman64 Good tip. FYE at both of my local malls have closed up. They seem to be a dying breed these past couple of years. Whenever I go far out of town next and go to the mall somewhere new I'll be sure to check the comedy section if there is an FYE there.
This one nearly caused me an asthma attack the first time i heard this, and I thought only Robin Williams was funny enough to do that. Good song for Christmas in sunny South Carolina. One snowstorm in 10 years, and it had to be on Valentine's Day, when we were dressed to the nines going to a dance. the walk down the driveway turned into Roller Derby, and neither of us can be considered athletic.
