That aside, does anyone know what will happen if I update my firmware to 2.0.2? It should work fine except for the fact that its been jailbroken and I don't really want to wait for it to restore itself if jailbreaking an unlocked iphone 3g screws its ability to update without pwning...
It is impssible to get it unlocked in US as AT&T doesn't provide the unlocking service. You can only call the carrier to unlock the phone if the phone is Australian model and purchased in Australia. thanks
@miioutlet Actually, almost all other countries outside of the US can unlock your iPhone legally, some can do it for free, others charge a lot of money... But it's not just Australia.
it's legally unlocked by the local phone company. You can't get the iphone legally unlocked in US. Because the iphone 3g is too cheap in US. that's why it's unlocked.
