Just join every tournament as possible , and show what a amazing player you are, a good team player. you will make it. you need to work extra hard.

source: played B division at 16 years old, A division = premier league at the age of 17, 18 career ended ( knee ligament )

I kinda get sadden that it is a bit late for me to start training into football (or am i wrong) I'm 17 years old, I got into football in the year 2006 cause I live in Canada and over here, football isn't really exposed as in Europe/Other parts of the world... I just wish I could have played football earlier in my life.

@SipahiWarrior Don't worry man, if you put your mind into it and train harder than anyone else there is still a chance. I didn't start playing untill I was nine and didn't join a real team untill I was 12. I train hard every day though, to catch up. I made my high school team last year and turned to starter in the middle of the season, and then I knew from that that there is still a chance for me. Just keep pushing it, pour your heart out every game, and you might realize it's not too late.

Arsenal Is right about the 14 year olds Because your technique of play starts at young age (style of play) if you start after 14+ means you would be training alot and you wouldn't be a complete player. The Base Of Player's are ages Under 14.. The Rest is training your technical skill ....

this is wierd for em watching all this nike stuff im 14 play for aston villa under 15's premier league and looking to sign a contract next season and someone mentioned turning heads i really dont like bein big headed but i do turn heads i scored 34 goals last season i play attacking mid 2nd top goal scorer in the league. ive made this point because i kind of feel like unique and thankful that i have the strength and the touch and the skill im glad i watched this kinda made me feel good.

wenger is right..youth is where you find the talent and that is why european and south american footballers will be more succesful than americans, their youth programs are the best..we need more youth programs run by the bigger clubs and that way it will give guidance to younger kids and show them what it takes to become professional.if america does this than we could have more talent than we do already..
