Airwolf is a totally unrealistic chopper. No helicopter can go to Mach speeds like Airwolf and carry that much ordanance. How many missles did Airwolf fire? An Apache or Hind can't carry that much.

However Blue Thunder uses systems that are actually in use. In fact to some extent alot of the systems in Blue Thunder are already outdated like the fire control and IR. The Apache Longbows are more advanced. Blue Thunder is more comparable to the Huey Cobras of the late 70's and early 80's.

@Jerry74 who cares its a tv program and a pretty good one too back in the day it was supposed to be a super machine just like A team for eg you could lock them in a shed with a a tube of toothpaste and 15 rubber bands and they would roll out in a 45 ton battle tank ;)

To me Blue thunder always looked like a Comanche - except of coruse a 'silent' flight mode and that 20mm Gatling gun what an animal !

But Airwolf is still the best, guns, sunbursts, rockets, mach 2 + that is a true beast !

Lets live in the realm of television for a moment if you will and say that Airwolf and Blue Thunder were actually real and could do all that their tv shows portrayed that they could do....AIRWOLF WINS HANDS DOWN, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Technically airwolf can resist 30mm armor piercing rounds as see airwolf vs redwolf and thunder only have a 20mm vulcan and also  blue thunder as seen in the movie is not immune to 30mm armor piercing and airwolf carry two of those in its wing tip. i guess i have to agree on this vid

@knetterwauz010 actually Airwolf is way better than bluethunder in combat.....it because airwolf was design as a combat heli design to kill almost anything land sea or air in truth it may look like the pretty one because its the assassin type it just go to it target and kaboom kill everything that moves. blue thunder dispite its ugly form is the smart one..it can x-rays microphone(to listen at enemy) its a police helicopter and it does it way better job than air wolf in thisManner AW=swat BT=CSI

ok for all you blue thunder fags.blue thunder was a chopper designed specially for CROWD CONTROL!!!..airwolf was designed to much diffrent armorments even nuclear ,it has missles that could take out BT from 50 miles away.!!not to mention a mach 1.5 run wouldnt even be detected untill it was too late.. please enough is enough people...its ok to like BT but to say vs airwolf it would have any chance in hell is like saying Batman vs Superman!
