  • Vegan is an eating disorder

  • Do you like Lentils ?

  • Very interesting video.

I use calorie restriction, but I eat carbs. I've lost 100lbs using my knowledge of thermodynamics. I think we agree on thermodynamics, and I also agree with you that often people fail with calorie restriction because of the kind of food that they're eating.

  • damn girl you look fine

  • you may lost all this wight but you are to skinny and you look unhealthy. and for sure eating so much, even that its only fruits ... this thing have a name..... its called eating disorder!!!!!!!

  • I want to be married to a woman like her !

  • I don't want to lose my muscles, I like... need them.

  • Your body looks really unhealthy, you have like no muscle. Vegan is not healthy, I'm sorry. You need Omega 3 and eggs are actually one of the most healthy things you can eat. I've lost 30 pounds on Atkins (so far) and I'm eating primarily all the foods you say don't eat, and I've actually gained muscle, not lost it.

  • I understand where you are coming from, and Atkins is a decent program in certain contexts. But I don't think that there's anything unhealthy looking about her body. I am sure that her weight falls within the healthy range for a woman of her height. And as long as she is getting the macro and micro nutrients that her body requires, then I don't see an issue.

  • this is interesting. lots of people say that fat doesnt make you fat...carbs make you fat. i never know what to believe anymore.

  • @wh0reship I understand your frustration. The truth is that both are deceptive. An excess of energy (calories) causes your body to store fat. True, a calorie is not a calorie, but that only confirms the role of thermodynamics. Some foods require more energy than others to digest.

Do you know how I lost 100lbs? I put my faith in science. In study after study that has proven the energy balance equation over and over so many times in the past century. And then I watched so many others do it.

  • thanks God I live in Brazil and I can buy lots of cheap tropical fruits :D

  • Love youu. keep up the good work, among all the people in the raw food movement right now, i love watching you and harleys videos. good Facts! and staying real. i watch the Dan Mcdonalds videos too, and Ron Teegurdans, cant wait for raw foods to go Mainstream.

  • what is the point of looking like an anorexic.... you need some weight.

  • 30 bananas a day lol

  • I mean no disrespect by this question, but I am curious to know what female LFRVs have to say. When a woman continues with a LFRV diet, what happens to their breast size and health? It seems that their probability of cancer would plummet. Thank you for any honest responses!

  • A Pop-tart commercial just played before this video!!!

  • ah man this is so confusing

  • wow you look 25 years not 31:O

  • Other experts underline that fructose is a toxic iand that your body needs fat for energy. They advocate high fat, and low carb on the contrary.

  • you never mention vegetables! do you just eat fruit?!!

  • One of the reasons why people are gaining so much weight is that we're eating too much meat. Proteins are good for you but because of all the meat Americans eat, we actually are getting more protein than we need. You need even less protein if you don't work out, because any protein unused turns into fat.

  • im so gan a be vegan!!!! i love fruit and i would only eat 5 fruits a day kuz i was told they are high I'm sugar i would get fat! f that! I'm going to eat as menu fruits was i what and i have been against meet for a while and been eating some thinking i have to eat it but not no more! i will go the vegan way! omg 1million times thank you!

  • I really enjoy watching and learning from your video...thank you!

  • Her skin don't lie. Gorgeous beauty, and intelligent.

  • You look clean and natural. Low on toxins. You don't look like some ugly ass Kardashian bitch. They look so toxic. You are beautiful.

  • Holla! Have you tried - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got beautiful Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of belly fat with it.

  • You can't have a high carbohydrate diet when you have PCOS, though complex carbohydrates in moderation along with the rest of a plant based diet is best for people with blood sugar. For me I get sick if I eat very much fruit, so I eat primarily vegetables and fat and not fruit and other carbohydrates.

  • i think i fell in love with your waist

  • Ironically, Atkins does not restrict calories either. Thanks for the vid.

  • gosh, your so beautiful freelee:) thank you for this video<333

  • @dolphinradiate528

In my opinion durian is really not worth that; the taste makes me sick actually. Try bananas, they are the cheapest fruit.

  • There is thin-ness but not strong, no rock hard , no muscle in arms, just thin. Need more than fruit to be strong.

  • It's like she really wants it to stare up at us D: ohh well I'm going to go and bake myself some chocolaty muffin now!

  • Does she ever cover up her stomach?

  • Eating 30 banannas a day is worse for the environment than having a piece of steak.

  • "animal pieces and secretions" thats such a perfect way to put it! love this<3

  • Animal secretions? Isn't mother's milk an animal secretion?

Anyway, I agree with most of what you're saying..

  • @gonzo1483 yes, but it's OUR animal secretion. It was made for us as babies to increase our weight...it's extremely high in fat in protein to cause the greatest growth of our lives. We're supposed to stop drinking it when we get to the weaning age, and certainly not drink other animals'. Thanks for asking an honest question instead of just flaming.

  • boney bitch

  • Please address the effect of al the sugar, even though it is natural it is still sugar, that is consumed with eating so much fruit.....thanks

  • Hey, not bad video here I actualy liked it :) /watch?v=9QpzdK7wdYY expert talking about body weight on fox news

  • I will agree that a low fat cooked vegan mixed with raw fruits and a little meat protien,,,fish is good,, and eggs are good,, they are not bad,, as long as they dont have hormones and you eat in moderation,,,,,, your crazy to think that girl would get fat or less healtjhy if she ate some salmon,, maybe a 3 ounce piece 3-5 times a week, and an egg for breakfast,,hard boiled,, in fact she would be healthier guaranteed

  • she will get alzhiemers early,, eating like this,, guaranteed

  • guess what? you think a raw vegan diet is superior,, but your a fool,,what seprates man from animal is that we discovered fire, Fire kills bacteria, over cooking food will kill the enzymes in food,, but cooking just to the right level, does not,, it protects you from a myriad of possible diseases and parasites that you can get from eating raw food,,,, sure,, if you could guarantee a way top prevent any any all bacteria from killing you,,great,, but you cant... 100% vegan isnt the best either

  • cont..... you cant get the proper b vitamins from a pure vegan diet,,, you should have some eggs and a pice of fish now and then,,, you dont need fatty beef or bacon,, but in small amounts it isnt that bad if you generally eat right 99% of the time,, eat some salmon,,3 times a week and an egg or 2 evey day for breal fast ,, then youll have the proper nutrients you cannot get from a vegan diet alone

  • @ikambor she said eggs are an eat now pay later food,,, thats foolish,, yeas if you fry a dozen eggs in lard and wash them down with toast on your butter,, but a good steamed or boiled egg is good for you,, not bad for you,, she thinks she knows it all,, but really doesnt

  • hot vegan ;)

  • I want to ask you something in the most serious way : i have just started now the low fat raw vegan life-style ( keep in mind that i want to lose 40 lbs) , is it possible that I gain weight, instead of losing ? I am very afraid of that...and if so (because you said here in this video that you also put on weight when you converted to this style) , in how much time will I actually start losing the weight ? please respond...

  • Also fruits have a lot of sugar in them, which gets stored in the body as fat. Fruits are good in moderation, but there should be more focus on veggies, fish, fowl, eggs, and meat. You need the proteins in the animal products to live. You're thin, but you have no muscle.

  • Meat is a natural food, it's what humans are supposed to eat. Grains, wheat, pasta, and bread, are not supposed to be eaten by humans. You have to exercise much longer and much harder to burn off the carbs from wheat and grains. You don't need carbs. Check out The Primal Blueprint. It makes a lot more sense to eat like humans 10,000 years ago, who lived on instinct, lived. Plus your science is not very strong to back up what you say. Sorry I'm going to trust Mark Sisson before you.

  • you are looking excellent for 32 yrs old.

  • @dolphinradiate528 Same here in Norway. I used to eat lots of fruit and veg in England, but I just can't afford to here.

  • I Love you Freelea, you've became my inspiration!!! 40 days low fat high carb raw food and loving it!! :)

  • Calories are Calories. They are all the same. And an excess of calories will be stored as fat.

I'm 21, a nursing ,and a raw foodie. I have to disagree with your recommendations.

Excess protein (animal or vegetable-based) turn into fat. Excess carbohydrates (from bread or from fruit) turn into fat.

Excess calories devolve into fat, no matter where those calories come from.

It is dangerous to do what you are doing to your body Freelea. And I will tell you why.

  • @ModestTruth Binging on raw foods with high concentrations of vitamins/nutrients can cause a vast array of fluid and electrolyte imbalances. There is also something that people do to abuse water. It's called water intoxication and it creates a high. 1 L of H2O is about 1 lb. People have been known to put on lbs/day due to crazy water intakes. This can cause hydrocephalus, third-spacing/edema, kidney damage, & excessive diarrhea (esp. in combo w/ high electrolyte/glucose combination).

  • @ModestTruth The benefits of a vegan lifestyle lie in the fact that you are essentially not taking in another animal's cholesterol, triglycerides, and fat. Fat is fat. But, animal fat has higher concentrations of LDL cholesterol than most plant-based fats. For instance, olive oil has high concentrations of HDL cholesterol, which helps prevent fatty plaques from accumulating under the intimal layer of your blood vessels.

  • @ModestTruth This is wrong. Not all calories are equal.

  • @nutritioaltherapist Sorry, but the law of thermodynamics says otherwise. If we eat food containing energy (measured in kilocalories) than we must either expend this energy or convert it and store it as fat. By extension, many weight loss paradigms maintain that whether you eat a handful of jelly beans or a baked potato (about the same amount of energy), & this intake represents a Kcalorie surplus, both will be stored as fat w/ equal efficiency.

    Extra calories = fat.

  • @nutritioaltherapist Not to be nasty, but it comes down to science and whether or not you understand it.

I've checked out that 30bannas a day site and it's a total cult. No one is allowed to disagree with their philosophy. It's not where you need to go to get information or real feedback on the diet, trust me. People who begin to have health problems (like the ones I listed above) try to post what happens, but the site admins delete them. Don't use that site.

  • @ModestTruth depending on where the calorie comes from (carbohydrate, fat or protein) influences biochemistry differently. You will gain more weight from carbohydrates than protein for example due to the influence on insulin secretion. Insulin is needed to store fat. Without insulin this is not possible. same calories, different outcome. Not all calories are equal.

  • @nutritioaltherapist I don't think you are understanding. Excess calories are excess calories. Yes, the are turned into fat differently, based off of their chemical composition (for instance, protein is turned into fat through de-amination). But excess calories are always going to be stored as fat at the end of the day. I'm not sure why you're talking about insulin. Extra calories always = fat. Eating 5,000 kCal/day of fruit will do the same thing as 5,000 kCal of protein.

  • @ModestTruth Im afraid it is you who doesnt understand. Unfortunately this is not what happens in reality. Working in clinic (which I have been doing for the last 12 years and working with over 300 people regarding weight management) it is clear to see that altering macronutrient ratios massively affects fat storage. Same calories different outcome on biochemistry. what you are saying is a bit old hat im afraid.

  • @ModestTruth why do you think I advocate the 3o bananas aday diet. clearly this diet is slightly bonkers

  • your stomach is... hypnotic. gfsagaslfkj. wow. very inspiring!

  • you are SO gorgeous and inspiring!!!

  • May I be really raw in manly emotion and say I desire this beautiful young woman!:)

  • Carbohydrates trigger the release of insulin, the "fat storing hormone." This has been proven time and time again...

  • I'm going all in.

  • She totally sucking in....

  • are you single?

  • So I tried this and ate 5 bananas and got so full! I couldn't eat 30 I would be too full... How do you eat 30 ?

  • @GoVegNoww It can take a little time but keep at it and focus on smoothies early on because you can get more calories in with them.

  • Comment removed

  • @GoVegNoww Do not eat 30 bananas. DO NOT. That is waayy too much dietary intake of Potassium. K+ (potassium) is an important electrolyte used in cardiac muscle. If you have too much or too little you can have heart arrhythmias or heart failure. Really, do not do this. Also, 4kg or oranges for a meal is pretty wasteful. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin. All she is going to do is pee it out. It's dangerous to do this if you are not drinking enough water a day.

  • @ModestTruth I wouldn't even reccommend eating 10 bananas. 1 banana isn't equal to 1 serving of banana. 1 banana has several servings. So, eating 10 bananas is waay too much. You should keep it to 3 whole bananas a day max. 30 dates + 1 liter of water might be good if you want to shit your brains out.

  • My left ear enjoyed this. So did my eyes :)

  • Hahaha I love how u can't disagree with anything she says because she's herself is proof

  • I'm just not getting it.

  • My left ear loves this.

  • Comment removed

  • @eriangg What study?

  • YOU ARE AMAZING!!! thank you for making this video, people need to know about this.

  • What about oil-soluble vitamins--D, K, A and E? How do you get those on a low-oil diet? And aren't you running a risk of Vitamin Deficiency? Also, we need oils to support certain cell mechanisms, you know.

  • so does this mean you can NEVER eat anything but fruit? If like you decide to one day have real food wont you gain weight?

  • @moocow220 well she also eats vegetables, seeds and nuts besides fruit(all of which are "real food"). She also mentioned, if you eat carbs there's a minimal chance that your body with store it cuz it's what the body uses, but you if eat fat, your body will store it cuz it has to change the fat molecule to a carb molecule to use it(it's too much of a hassle for your body to do that if you already have carbs on hand to use, so most of it the time, it will get stored right away)

  • @moocow220 btw, real food is natural and GROWN, not made. If you mean "processed food" like chips, pop, ice cream, etc etc, that's all artificial food, or "fake food" if you like. No where will you find plants producing any "foods" like the ones manufactured in factories and sold to you in sealed containers.

  • Restricting calories (so long as you are not malnourished) is proven to increase longevity actually. Do your research. Google it! You are not eating 30 bananas per day (over 3000 cals alone) and staying this slim. I don't think you are being honest, to be honest.

  • your body DOES look amazing - I'm trying to lose about 15 - 20 pounds at the moment (i'm posting progress videos). I don't think I could manage 30 bananas a day, but I'm definitely going to arm myself with vegetables and fruit against the evils of junk food...!

  • she is still way too focussed on diet and keeping thin, any bets if she was put in the position to gain weight she would turn ago again... its not healthy to be so obsessed with appearance and health

  • typical - the anorexic turning into the raw vegan

  • i need cheers please im just stared and im week ,please cheer meeeee

  • Your a Genius!

  • What about protein?

  • @AwakeInNJ999 Plants contain protein. I hate this arguement so much argg!

  • @mrgordonplaysdrums Did you ever question if the protein in plants can be useable by humans?

  • @Mitchell9oh5 Did you ever question your intelligence and understanding of how the human body works. Of course it is you numbskull. How do you think herbivour animals got their essential proteins and nutrients? Why arnt millions of vegans dead right now? Eating meat isnt the only way to get protein just like jerking off isnt the only way to blow your load lol.

  • @AwakeInNJ999 Protein is in ALL leafy green veggies. Rhinos, Apes and Elephants are all strong creatures and they eat only plants :)

  • @jasonbarnes926 haha true thanks a lot :)

  • How much vigorous exercise you get per day, on average?

  • Going through her videos you can notice drastic changes between this video and September. It seems to me she has a serious problem and is using the fact she is skinny in combination with youtube to justify her eating disorder.

  • Known problems with this diet.

Dental decay, osteoporosis, wasting of muscle tissue, inability to maintain a healthy weight, chronic fatigue, skin problems, thinning hair, weakening nails, and excessive irritability.

Another problem with a high fruit diet is that it can lead to problems involving the hormones that regulate your blood sugar; insulin, glucagon, and growth hormone. A chronic imbalance of these hormones is a sure way to develop cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Good luck Lea!

  • @infinitewobdrahpa You're talking about FAD diet problems there :)

  • Nice bod!

  • lots of money for all those fruits a week....

  • Atkins for example, paleo, meat diet, etc.

  • I quickly discovered this video is much better muted.

  • OMG, how perfect is your life? I'm so glad you figured it all out!

  • YoLninYo - shes 31 btw ... not 18

  • every skinny person thinks they're a fucking diet guru... WTFF!!! arrrrggggggh!!!! how about some fucking vegetables? stop shilling for fruit companies!!!

  • Dear 18 year old skinny girl, come talk to me when you're 35....

  • @YoLninYo FYI she's almost 32...

  • eating all that fruit is eventually going to give you insulin problems. your body needs more vegetables not fruit sorry i think you are wrong in the fruit sense

  • Very informational vid. THank you.

  • Eating pure raw vegan is a bad idea. End of story. Most people who do those kind of diets long term probably have eating disorders. Any sort of unnatural diet in the long run probably isn't good for you. Also people who push this on their pets or children are the worst. You know who else pushes unnatural diets on animals? CAFOs. If you want to get osteoporosis at age 37 that's fine, but for gods sake, not little kids. People: food in moderation, and exercise regularly. Duh

  • @TheLemonVampire

How is eating this way bad? If you eat every raw food in moderatio and are meeting your nutritional needs doing so, how is that bad?

    Processed foods are bad.

  • @XCORPSETTEX Think about the last thing you ate. Now, look it up on wikipedia. Chances are, it is/was processed by man either by means of preservation or by selective breeding. Even fruits and veggies are processed this way. If you are only eating raw food and nothing else, you are not eating it in moderation, end of story. There are certain nutrients that are ONLY in cooked foods, just like in raw. Healthy is a diverse diet and regular exercise. There is no shortcut or magic detox diet.

  • Hi, I have watched a few of your videos now and other videos about vegan lifestyle, I have always struggled with weight. Can you tell me anything about what to eat during pregnancy? I have been told that red meat and brown rice etc is good, however I don't want to eat red meat but will need to make sure I am doing right by my unborn child. Thanks in advance.

  • @rizzlesizzledizzle During pregnancy you want to listen to your doctor, as they get paid to keep you and your unborn child alive. Vegans tend to have a higher risk of having a miscarriage, and it does NOT help you lose weight. I struggled with my weight for a long time, and I tried vegetarianism for a few years, it didn't do shit. Then, I got off my fat ass, worked out for like 20-40 mins every other day, ate sugary food less often and then lost 1/4th of my weight.

  • @TheLemonVampire Thank you for that, I was not aware of the high miscarriage rate. I am not pregnant at the momment, but should be soon. I was just curious about having a bit of a clean out and detox, which I have done and feel great. I excersize every day too. I have found that most of my "weight" has just been because of bloating and water retention and I find the vegan diet for a couple of days sorts it out. Belly has flattened a lot since my last comment! Thanks for the advice.

  • @rizzlesizzledizzle Thanks for reading my comment! I keep hearing the term 'detox' and I still get kind of confused about what detoxifying and or cleaning up actually means, nor am i sure the vegan fasting was what removed the water weight. Typically sodium is the culprit for bloating, as it causes the body to retain water. The quickest way to remove access water retention is by exercising and making yourself sweat. Congrats on the weight loss! Keep up the exercise!

  • @TheLemonVampire What I meant by detox and cleaning out was drinking more water and eating pure fruit and veg. Otherwise, I would be literally, full of shit. Lol. Water + fruit eases constipation and stops bloating. At least it works for me.

  • @rizzlesizzledizzle Ah, well actually, while its a good idea to eat fruits and veggies (raw frozen or cooked) and its also true that raw fruits and vegetables contain soluble fiber, which is important for healthy bm, its not the main reason. Just eating foods without salt (including cooked foods) will have the same affect. In actuality its the fact that you are exercising. Do not use "well i can just eat fruit and vegs" as an excuse to stop working out! Keep working out!

  • @TheLemonVampire Yes, I have always worked out and don't eat salty foods. I never said I didn't work out. The point is that I work out and eat well but still had this belly, but by eating fruit and veg only for a couple of days it seems to work. The weight is not fat, its food stuck in the colon which causes bloating.

  • @rizzlesizzledizzle I know you work out! Lol! Like I said, keep up the exercise! But I would say just eat plenty of fruits and veggies mixed in with smaller amounts of the food that causes the bloating, rather than have fruit fasts whenever you feel bloated. That way, it will be easier to find out what foods are causing you to get bloated, or you may find that you simply aren't getting bloated anymore. If food is the reason you're bloated all the time, you should ask a doctor about it.

  • @TheLemonVampire i have the same problem. my doctor said it has to do with my sleep pattern. weird

  • 3,000 calories a day will give you plenty of energy....but do you tell people how much you exercise. What may work for you and Harley may not work in the same way for other people.

  • This only works because your body needs dietary fat. So if it's severely restricted, your body will eat it's own fat. But eventually it becomes dangerous if dietary fat is not eaten and the body runs out of reserves. Your brain is 60% fat or more. You don't want to use up these fat reserve or you will be literally eating your brain. Personally, I like my brain. There are more healthy ways to lose fat than this. This is quite extreme.

  • Doctors tell us to restrict FAT calories, not carbs - which is what makes people sick and fat.

  • "Very rarely does the body store carbohydrates as fat"

    When does it do that?

  • gahhh, i'mma go make some chicken fried bacon

  • "VEGAN Becaude it's...cleaner and tastier"

    1. Cleaner: As a biologist I can tell you that no food is "cleaner" than another. It's a nonsense statement to say fruit is cleaner than fish, or vice-versa.

    2. Tastier: How, may I ask, is restricting yourself to certain foods somehow tastier than not? I eat bananas almost every day, I've eaten many fruits/pulses/nuts etc. They're not the tastiest things in the world and any meat eater can experience them whenever they want anyway.

  • @ihaterobbie123 I think the meaning is that none processed food is "cleaner"has fewer additives and non-food ingredients in them. And, tastier , while subjective, is a suggestion that real food as oppossed to process man made food- will taste better to you- althought that may be only true once you get used to it.... and is still subjective. But as long a she is not promoting anything unhealthy why worry about it.

  • @mompm "But as long a she is not promoting anything unhealthy why worry about it."

Well ignoring the prevalence of miscarriages and infertility in vegan women, no, she's not.

And how is the only "man made food" anything but on the vegan diet? You are aware that every vegetable produced on an industrial scale these days has been selectively bred over thousands of years for human consumption? If you think veganism is natural then try eating a wild banana.

    Vegans eat man made food.

  • @ihaterobbie123 I was not aware of the higher miscarrige rate, if that's true it would explain my craving for red meat when I was pregnant and had previously been a vegetarian.

When I said man made food I was referring to products with pictures of the food on it if you get what I mean. Nature is manipulated but its still more organic that a box of sugar snaps.

I am very new to this and just trying it out. Why are you watching the vids if you think its a bad idea? What interests you

  • @mompm I was recommended a low-meat diet by someone in my swimming club so I decided to look into it. I'm not really interested in losing weight though as a large build is important for judo, which is a sport I compete in. This is the very video I was linked to.

What interests me right now is the things I'm hearing vegans say. If they were trying to give good advice they wouldn't lie about cooked/non-veg food. They would acknowledge the need for fat in a healthy diet, which they don't.

  • @ihaterobbie123 most of the vegan recommendations I have been reading have been that we do need a balance and fat and protein are a part of that. I sent this woman a question about the massive amount of fruit and deletions of of things she eats and why... she did not respond yet. This has been the most unusal vegan diet I have come across yet.

  • @ihaterobbie123 I'm a vegan. I have no problems with the concept of fat as a needed macronutrient.

    What now?

  • @ihaterobbie123 Tastier because you actually taste the flavour of food. You might not realise how tasty is raw food because your taste is used to all these spices, but if you try to remove them someday I think you'll be surprised about how tasty can a lettuce be, without salt, oil, vinegar nor anything that covers its authentic flavour.

  • @rocknlemon Man, the sort of shit that comes out of your mouth...

I know what raw food tastes like, it might surprise you to know everyone does. Stop treating people who eat cooked things like children.

  • @ihaterobbie123 you see? plus, meat makes you aggressive

  • @rocknlemon "meat makes you aggressive"

Please stop talking. You're not funny, you're not clever, and so far you haven't been right.

  • @ihaterobbie123 ok boss (:

  • @ihaterobbie123 Your taste buds have a 10 day lifespan, once you cut out the salt and other shit, you get your sense of taste back. After i was 15 days raw I tried a pineapple again. It was the most DELICIOUS thing I had ever eaten. Your tastes change believe me. I crave watermelon, bananas and dates now. not fat.

  • @Breeyar You're really full of it, you just are.

If you want to wipe your taste buds clean then drink some water. Stop trying to sell me hocus pocus nonsense because you have no factual basis for your claims.

"Your taste buds have a 10 day lifespan"

That actually made me chuckle a bit.

  • @Breeyar ahh fat is good for you. its the building block of every cell in your body so you should crave and eat some foods with fat in it.

  • Hello,

Im a spanish girl, so.. sorry for my english.

I think all your videos are very interesting. I started to eat on the right food (raw food) for 2 weeks, and I want to keep it. You said that we have to be "pacient", what dou you mean? Do you mean to be pacient about when you start eating raw food to see results on your body? or what? And another question: when you start to eat raw food, but your body is still used to restrict calories, do you become fat for some time??

    thx : D

  • Fuck if you lived a million years ago you would of eaten all the fruit on a whole continent in a week lmao you chat some bullshit all them calories from fruit is so dangerous to your body I dont care if you look good it is bad for you

  • @JDO9700 IGNORANT!!

  • Show me your ass bitch

  • @JDO9700 wdf?

  • Does eating so many bananas/apples/pears a day have a negative effect on insuline levels? After all these fruits do have sugars. Thanks in advance for your response :)

  • @shapeurmind @freelea My question exactly. I am a vegan too, but instead f basing my diet on fruits, I eat more veggies, like, spinach, cabbage and beetroots.

  • @tearlight @shapeurmind from what I have read recently, fat releases toxin that interfere with insulin uptake... in a high carb diet, insulin does its work more efficiently.

  • @shapeurmind I would say it does, but it depends on your metabolic type. Some people do well on high carb diets, and some don't, and I think it has to do with your ancestry. I've gone for long periods of time eating a vegetarian diet with lots of raw fruit smoothies and raw green vegetables. I found that it would give me lots of energy, and then I would crash and have strong cravings for salt, fat, and protein. Look up nutritional typing, and find videos by Dr. Mercola. Hope that helps :)

  • @carthora Maybe you weren't eating enough? If what the girl of the video says is right, she also had a slow metabolism. I've been mad about calories since I was 16, eating no more than 500 kcak per day and going to spinning classes 5 times a week. And I was just as thin as my sister, who spent all day eating pasta, sandwiches, mayonnaise, chocolate, everything I forbade me to eat, and she didn't EVER go to the gym!

  • @rocknlemon I'm no more restricting my calories to 500, I eat everything but meat and fish, I gained some kilos (59k and my height is 1,72), but I don't feel good, I felt better when I was restricting, and then I felt sad but at least I felt strong and "healthy". Now I'm hungry and I don't feel motivated and some parts of my skin are dry, so I'm going to give the raw diet a try (:

  • @rocknlemon I don't think of calories when I eat - I actually probably eat more than I need - I just pay attention to what my body needs, and I guess that takes a while, and takes a bit of research which is what you're doing. If you're still eating milk and eggs, I would suggest stopping all milk and cheese (I felt much better after this, and lost weight), but eat more eggs. If your skin is dry, maybe you need more raw fats. Maybe the pure raw diet will work for you though. No harm in trying :)

  • @rocknlemon if she has a slow metabolism, that would explain why she does well on a high carb diet. I have a fast metabolism, and carbs are really easy for the body to break down, so eating carbs doesn't satisfy my hunger for very long, and I end up having to be eating pretty much all the time. It just causes my insulin levels to spike and crash, and I can't think clearly. I end up eating bread and that makes me gain weight. Meat gives me sustained energy throughout the day.

  • @shapeurmind Oh, by the way, I do think the diet she is talking about in this video is really great, and will help you lose weight regardless of your nutritional type, but if you're not a carbo type, I don't think it works well as a long term diet. You could try it but it would be better to eat mostly low glycemic fruits and vegetables (especially leafy greens), and only a little bit of sweet fruit, and make sure to include raw fat like avocado or raw coconut oil.

  • @shapeurmind Its explained in the 80-10-10 book.As long as your fat levels are low (your dietary fat intake at 10% or less) it will not negativelly effect your insulin levels. Now, I haven't checked to see how much research supports this, but that is what Freelea is basing her diet from.

  • @shapeurmind Obviously.

  • can i smash you?

  • thank you girlie for becoming a grate example =-)!
