notice how simon is cleverly keeping anoop on despite two craapy performances ('beat it' & 'my perogative') and always places him either towards the end or at the end itself in order to retain him. Last week rumor has it anoop was given a vocal coach and had the slow ballad specifically sleected for him. Simon had Alexis, jasmine and jorge eliinated so that he could keep anoop and move him from top 13 (where he created an extra spot for him) and move him in to top 10. A.I has shown its colors.

You are entitled to your opinion obviously, but plenty disagree with you, and if she didn't sing such a boring country song, she would still be in the competition. The judges actually admitted that they were considering saving her (unlike the other 2 contestants voted off the week prior). They based it on Jolene, which IMHO, is a very boring song that didn't do her any justice.

Season 8 ended for me the night that Alexis was sent home. She was my pick, and in my opinion, she had everything to make it to the Top. The final Top 10 are not exciting, or talented enough to keep my attention. It's going to be one heck of a long year before Season 9 starts! But in the meantime, I'll keep my eyes & ears open for news on Alexis! I hope and pray that she does NOT give up, and that a major recording studio had also seen her potential and signs a contract with her!

America got it right . I'm surprised she was in the Top 13. Nothing annoys me more than a girl with no soul - trying to sing such a soulful song like "I Never Loved a Man (The Way That I Love You) by Aretha Franklin. Awesome voice. Last year was the first year I watched AI. The reason I started watching is the female employees in my office wanted to do a contest. I picked David Cook after the round of 20. Of course they all were mad I won the contest. What I'm trying to say is that what I saw in DC I see in this girl. Adam Lambert will be tough to beat. I think Gokey is good but not great . This girl is great, I'm picking her.
