Maybe you should get a new graphics card? If your card does not support Shader model 3, you can do nothing about it. Only replace it. What graphics card do you have?
I think a 4850 will be a good match for the E8400. I currently have it with a Q6600 and works much better than it did with the E6600. I will be making a new COD5 video once my hand gets better, to show the difference!
The specs are clearly seen withing the video my friend. But since the HD version is not ready yet, i will assume that the low res version is not sufficient to read them.
Anyway, for this video i used an E6600@2880, 2Gigs of ram at 4-4-4-12 and a stock ATI 4850.

When I go on Options .. there is only brightness.. Where to change the graphics..

The 4890 is about 50% faster the 4850 so i guess you wouldn't have a problem!
