This song is something I would expect from Gullah Gullah Island, not Smashing Pumpkins. It isn't horrible, but it definitely doesn't deserve the kind of praise it's been getting from people.

Billy said in a recent Spirits in the Sky show (and elsewhere), that all the new material plays by Spirits in the Sky (excluding the covers), are new Pumpkin songs for the forthcoming album "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope!"

Billy Corgan was always the genius of the Smashing Pumpkins. I just lessoned to that radio conversation with D'arcy when she called into the Chicago radio stationed, she just seems cracked out of mind. The fact is,... if you want the Smashing Pumpkins you have to accept Ginger, Jeff, Lisa, and even the new kid. I mean honestly I feel a little prob over him because I have grown to love the new bands lineup with Jimmy, but we'll see! Open minds people.

I'm fine with whoever happens to be in the band as long as Billy trusts them. Honestly, he was always the driving force behind the Pumpkins. James and D'Arcy were both very talented musicians, but they just didn't have a lot of input.

I will miss Jimmy though. That man is an absolute god of the drums.

Zeitgeist wasn't that bad...Certainly not as bad as the crap that was Machina I and II...I think what turned people off were two main things, the first being that James Iha and Darcy wern't back with Billy and that after such a long period of time a lot of fans expected a magnificent return like a phoenix rising from ashes. I can't predict what will happen with Jimmy gone now though, but this song seems promising and I can't wait to hear a clean studio version...
