Played the demo today. This game is pretty intense. The thing i quite didnt understand is that in both fights, you end up only having one arm but somehow managing to win. He gets his ass kick worse than a lot of heroes, especially episode 11 where at the end (SPOILER) where his teacher stabs him and it not only goes through him, but the earth.....the FUCKING EARTH! How in the hell is he still alive and how the hell does he get his arms back or even stay alive after that stabbing lol!?

played the demo... the only thing u get is a fucking quick time event?! the only thing remotely close to actual gameplay is when u fight the samurai guy! (episode 11 i think) the demo was dumb and it only gave u an idea of what boss fights were gonna be like. Played the demo and really enjoyed it, though I do get the feeling this game is more "style over substance". And even though I don't mind QTEs, I really hope this won't become something disastrous like "Ninja Blade", where it was really freaking annoying.

@lombert45 Well it normal combat it will be mostly restricted to kinda the reaction commands you find in Kingdom Hearts 2 and even then it's mostly to finnish them of. So most of the QTE is restricted to the bosses. Also those that have the shrinking circle are called synchronic impact and are for the games scoring system.

@lombert45 I completely agree with you on Ninja Blade's comparison. They overused the amount of QTEs in each boss battle, but each QTE was not very exciting (kind of like an OMGWTFBBQ!? reaction) However the reason why Asura's Wrath will sell if deployed at the right Quarter is that its QTEs are over-the-top and completely mind-blowing. It's like watching a DBZ-esque fight between Japan deities going past their limits. QTEs have to be epic to sell, Asura's Wrath does just that :)

@Mr100james kratos' powers were a gift, so he suffered from the fact that he could be separated from his godliness., which is what happened in pretty much every GOW game. Regardless, Asura would definitely win. Dr Manhattan however might stand a worth chance against Asura. I don't know. What do you think? You have to take into account that Manhattan can tear his atoms apart in an instant, but i am unaware of Asuras power limit. So basically, Kratos would get squashed like a bug on a windshield

I've played the demo and I felt like I was watching Dragon Ball. This is amazing, the fight, the characters punching each other with so fucking rage. What I most liked is the way it was developed to look like you were really watching an anime or cartoon. I'm looking foward to buy this :)

Was really excited for this "game" too until I played it. 90% of everything are either QTE's or cut scenes, you have barely any control over what the character actually does.

This would make a brilliant show or movie, but it isn't a good game.

That being said, I'll certainly watch a play-through of this.
