Well... I don't hope they "finish" it, but I hope they start again. It looks like an early 00s game, and wouldn't look great compared to the likes of Crysis! Perhaps, even, the Duke Nukem character was good when so few games were really "adult"... but now we've got so many games with no just adult themes but proper cinematic and emotional depth, his character would seem a bit... crappy.

I can't believe people really think Duke can die, right now Duke Nukem is basically up for grabs and I'm sure competition will arise for it's rights once the economic slowdown stops and companies like EA Games or (etc) can spend it's resources on selling potential gold mines like this.

Man, the new remade weapons based in the originals from Duke Nuken 3D, the enemies' animations, the BOSS BATTLE! It's a shame that this game will not come soon, but at least I hope the people who can finish it takes their time to make it be proud of carrying the name of Duke Nukem, because this game meant a lot to me as a gamer. He's still kicking ass and chewing bubblegum... and you know he loves it. Duke Nukem FOREVER!

they said they were slow in production and so many mistakes came by. When they were ready to fix the mistakes, a new gen came out so they had to start from step 1 to get it right. THEN it happened again, and a new gen came (ps3, xbox 360, fucking amazing PCs like mine, the gay wii [lol]), and they had to start again.

It took 11 years to develop. The graphics look dated, the textures look low res, the meshes don't look very complex, there's a disturbing lack of graphical effects like bump mapping on the creatures,the grass is just flat, unbumpmapped textures on the floor etc.

The gameplay would have to make up for it's technical shortcomings big time

Do you realise that Far Cry 2 can bump that grass and make it look real even if it was an inch tall? DNF grafics look sucky! Now compare this game to upcoming Rage, Wolfenstein and BioShock 2. Not to mention next gen tech. DNF could never catch up. Good ridence game got cancelled!

That doesn't justify the-mirror-smooth-like grass. So buzz the fuck off. DNF is as dull as my grandma driving bike. It would NEVER have the success Half-Life and FEAR had. Sommer blockbuster TOPS, but surely no classic. Even the DN3D is gay and no match for the Quake series. So this game is fully irrelevant and just plain stupid. I'm more than glad it failed!
