  • When will the States learn. They create a branch of the military for something that could be taught to a regular Infantry soldier. Canadian Army trains closely with Marines. It may not allow a lot of people to qualify but in the end you get a better soldier.... And don't send them out as soon as they complete Advanced Training.

  • @Freepepsi42 How dare you even involve the Canadian Army in the same paragraph as a branch of the United States military.

  • @Stevieio1 i just did......

  • Comment removed

  • can't wait to enlist and get my life on track

  • this is my platoon wen i was in basic this is fucken insane! i wish the quality was better so i could see myself or some friends! insanity

  • F*ck Special Forces! Teenage Mutant Ninja RANGERS!

lol j/k United States Military: Best There Is!

  • good times...Fort Benning B 2-47 been there, loved it!

  • what is wrong with you people?

  • I can clearly settle this for you, this is US army infantry training at ft benning GA, I was there in 05 and this was my unit, theres nothing wrong with rivalry amongst branches, so long as its lateral, seals rock, but there nothing more than rangers, marines are navy infantry, and delta and green berets are up there with recon rangers and such, ultimately your training or title doesnt make the man, theres a bad ass gas station clerk out there some where lol, just saying.

  • I'm tuff behind my computer. semper fi

  • @DBEZNUTS You're also gay.

  • Stop somplaing

  • why do most things i see from the milatary look fun why just why

  • hahaha-- the tower @ 2:00 -- i remember what a bitch she was until you figured out that it was all about TEAMWORK!

you can run this sh*t solo, but that ain't the point.

  • Im 15 Going on 16. and im training to be a marine. Jrotc now. then boot camp.then service, then college maybe learn while in service, then ROTC and be in reserve.to most teens this is a punishment to go to military school. i say to my parents SEND ME!

  • Hey fuckers, we are all on the same team right? We're all defending the same country? So stop all this I'm the best my branch is more hardcore bullshit.

  • I hate team work.

  • Why does everyone keep referring to this video as Marine boot?

  • Cmon man marines AREN"T first in or last out not even fucking close CIA OPERATIVES AND SF FORCE are the FIRST ones to hit enemy territory before any marine unite even arrives on the scene....know the facts dumbasses plus it took the marines 3 extra days to reach baghdad when the 1st cav division was their waiting for them...

  • when do they get gunz

  • And what happens if someone falls from there (2:00)?

  • @WWEfanRko10 You have to trust your Marines and work as a team to get everyone up there...if someone happens to fall, then that sucks lol

  • @WWEfanRko10 It's all about trust, man. If they fall, then I'm sure the people who let it happen will get yelled at.

  • marines may be first in. and they are also first out. army has to stay for twice as long. usmc training might be more physically demanding, but when you're out in the field for 15 months it's a totally different story. you guys can all argue now, but i sure as hell hope you don't argue about this shit when you're in a foxhole together with bullets flying over your head.

  • WTF? @ 2:15 back in 1993 we did this without help. We were on our own.

  • charlie 2/58 hooah

  • if marines want to talk trash about the army-hooah. even if the navy or air force want to do the same-hooah to them too. be sure we will do the same to you. but for those of you who have not served in any of the services, you have not earned the right to talk trash about any of the branches of the military. for the record: veteran 31S1C US Army Delta Company 1st SATCON Bn USMDC.

  • Anyone with a remote amount of fitness should be able to scale 10 foot walls easily. Screw teamwork, teach the marines parkour. (Please don't kill me.)

  • 0:10

lmao the one mother fucker who can run up walls would OWN THAT SHIT

  • im goin into the marines and the only problem is the heights with me. i gotta figure out a way out

  • @einox81 lol me bro

  • This is the confidence course at Fort Benning, Georgia; these are Infantry recruits from C Co. 2-58, which is where I graduated Infantry OSUT back in 2004. They are saying part of "The Infantryman's Creed" towards the end of this clip....these are Soldiers, not Marines.

  • those are army uniforms the digital woodland wouldn't show that bright

  • intense. gay song though.

  • Comment removed

  • @mbeastmode

That's not Ft. Jackson, SC it's Ft. Benning, GA

Everything else you said is dead on though lol

  • how high are those walls? 10 ft?

  • This is the army is it not?? their wearing the Universal Pattern, not the MARPAT

  • @PITBULL859 That only means it's an old video. MARPAT was only introduced about 6 years ago, give or take. Before that we wore the same camis as the army, distinguished only by the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the pocket and cover, and by how much cleaner and crisper and spit-polished we maintained the uniform compared to the army.

  • @KausticX yeah i know you guys wore the same BDU's but these arent the BDU's these are the ACU's. and i don't think the marine ever wore the ACU's, so that is why this is the Army, and not the Corps

  • @PITBULL859 Actually I can't tell, the video is too fuzzy throughout the entire thing for me to get a good enough look to distinguish them. Also, I had always been under the impression that the Confidence Course was unique to Marine Corps boot camp, but I could be mistaken. I'm actually prone to agree with you though, for several reasons: 1) Slow, casual pace 2) Guy at the end waving his arms while shouting the ditty (Marines not on obstacles are either sprinting to the next obstacle or -

  • @PITBULL859 - standing at attention) 3) I think I heard them call themselves "soldiers" in the ditty, Marines never call themselves anything but "recruit" while in boot camp, and never call themselves "soldier" EVER, always distinguishing themselves by the correct title "Marine", and 4) In the info the unit is called C Company 2-58. I know of no Marine infantry unit called 2-58. There's only about ~200,000 of us, I don't think we go all the way up to 58. XD

  • @KausticX in the late 90s the only way you could tell the marines from the army apart was by how the marines wore their covers-with it neatly creased-and how they rolled their sleeves-with the inside showing instead of covered over with the cuff-in the summer time. nothing against the marines. use to tease them as a part of branch rivalry-but it is a rivalry really between brothers-both ready to give their lives for their country and for one another if need be.

  • whats the song plz?? :)

  • @breakinbenjaminlover Miss Murder-AFI

  • @DarkPrince498 thnx :)

  • u know what they say the army is better equipped but the marines are better trained

  • AFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @angelsfan4 HELL YEA!!!!!

  • How high are those?

  • @dan0champ The stairway to heaven is about 5 stories give or take (that's the gigantic ladder you climb straight up and over, it wasn't in this video), and the slide for life (the tower with the ropes going diagonally down to the ground) is about 2 or 3 stories at the beginning and winds all the way down until the rope is low enough for you to simply hang your feet down and touch the ground. The other tower where you climb floor to floor is also about 3 or 4 stories.

  • LOL At The Blue Cusion Matt At End

  • ummm actually marines lead the way! army is stuck getting approved to go anywhere in congress so by the time the army gets there we have a base set up with showers

  • Tell that to rangers and green berets.

  • Comment removed

  • Lol you mean like you were the first into Baghdad? Or the first into Falluja? Or the first into Afghanistan? Oh wait... the Army was the first into all those places... Haha Marines don't lead shit. You kids can stay on your Navy ships. The Army will take care of the war.

  • @templarknight86 Hmm kind of funny when the Rangers went with the Marines.

  • Yeah, well who invaded Iraq first? Marines!

  • Lol. No. The Army and the Marines were both on standby when the invasion was launches, and they both invaded Iraq as a whole at the same time. But Army SF and CIA SAD were already in there long before the conventional forces invaded. And like I said, the Army lead the 2 major city invasions in Iraq... both Baghdad and Falluja

  • Wrong again. The Marines spearheaded the invasion, the Army sent ONE unit ahead of Marines that wasn't supposed to do much fighting and got lost. Nevertheless that Army unit was fucked over and Marines had to save them.

  • Look lady I'm really trying to stay polite here, but it's become pretty evident that you're not military... and there's nothing more annoying than a non-military person trying to tell a military person what his unit did or didn't do. As I said, the initial invasion was conducted by both Army and Marines (as well as units from 6 other nations) SIMULTANEOUSLY. The ARMY contributed the most (233,342... clearly more than a unit), and the the whole invasion force was headed by an Army general.

  • I didn't say I was a Marine.

I was told Marines did the invasion, commanded by General Mattis. Haven't you read Generation Kill? It is said to be true. Perhaps the Army and Marines will never agree.

  • @templarknight86 fuck you if you dis the navy! thats were the most elite team in the world is! also (no offense to anybody in the marines...i have a cousin in the marines) navy SEAls are even in front of the marines! so fuck you if u dis the navy! HOOYAH

  • @batered lolz thats because Marine Force Recon is in front of them LOL.. USMC!!!

  • @templarknight86 ay dumb ass gess wat ever sence world war 2 the marines aka devil dogs always been first u dont know shit and the army ant shit compared to marines there training is more intance than any other brance its more hardcore... so next time wana talk shit learn your facts

  • @iceman20003 please for everybody on this video learn how to spell but other than that semper fidelis

  • I AM THE INFANTRY, FOLLOW ME!!!!!

Hearing the Creed makes me glad I went Infantry every time. Army Infantry leads the way. Everyone else is support.

  • @templarknight86 what about medics?...

  • Lol what about 'em? They're support too. But the Infantry definitely loves having that kind of support around heh

  • They're not support when they're going out with the Infantry in combat situations...

  • one of those obstacles almost looks like the slide for life in coronado, just add the tower to the rope and take the net away and you got 'slide for life'

  • pinches gringos, se nota que son unos inutiles deberian saltar las vardas como hombres no como niñas asustadas

  • @DLAWET Haha

  • What are they chanting at 3:21?

  • just wondering. what happens if you were to fall off that tower thing at 2:06? you just get fucked up?

  • I can slide down the rope at the last one. Soooo easy. My big brother was in the army. And what are they saying in the last one?

  • I have to do a confidence course on Monday and I'm just a kid. I'm going to military camp YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME! (this is coming from a girl) I'd put them on my shoulders when they are coming down so they can get a chance to turn around. I do it at school all the time. we have these MASSIVE! climbing walls.

  • im wondering how the first guy gets up there lol. that must be some serious upper body strength.

i ship to fort knox 15 feb hooahh

  • dose the drill instructor tape the video

  • I agree-put Trapped Under Ice on to this....

  • man this video needs some metallica instead of this cheezy music ...i mean c'mon there marine recruits the few, the proud, the badass

  • thats the Army dumbass

  • My sister-in-law is a marine. I can only imagine how hard this is to do from experience rather than from just watching it.

  • just wondering who has harder training us marine corps or the sas coz the sas's looks pretty hard nd int it like 9/10 will fall at the 1st hurdle does any1 no wat it is 4 this??

  • Comment removed

  • its 5 outta 10. i dont know about now. i think fort benning lost its edge. i remember it was just a couple of steps away from being like USMCBCT, but i think its on par with old fort sill. theyre all losing their edge because of the rising numbers of enlisted support non-combat MOS. like they're gonna be serving food or shit.

  • the SAS have a harder training course than regular marines because SAS is a special forces branch. you want to compare the Marine Force Recon because they are the special force part of the marines

  • what a gay song to associate with the Marine Corps

  • to bad its army dumbass

  • well now, doesn't that make more sense then?

  • the hardest part of the pft is the 50mile hike that lasts three days with 60 pound bags on your back with the choice of three snacks that have to last you three days

  • cheefdude.......nothing would make me happier then to fucking slit your throat and watch you bleed out. usmc

  • I agree.

  • marines are about team work dumbass and not just leaving your fire team behind.they teach you too solve problems as a team and be a leader. and this is just a small portion of their training.the recruits train for 13 weeks non stop its mentally and physically challenging.I bet half you people that criticize the videos can barely pass the minimum PFT. USMC

  • @dirtbro413

Very well said. Shippin in January 2011. Just signed today.

    ~Semper Fi

  • @dirtbro413 right these guys are dumm ass's lol

  • @dirtbro413 what is the minimum PFT for American marines

  • @05mcmtyl Tricky question to answer. On paper the minimum passing score is only 135 points (Scored on pullups, crunches, and running. Can't explain the scoring system in detail in only 500 characters). However, in reality if you score less than 180 you'll probably be punished. 225 is enough to get by with nothing more than being considered a weakling by your peers. 250 is respectable. 280 is what's actually expected. 300 is the max score. I'll have to continue in another comment. Text limit.

  • @05mcmtyl Aside from that there's the CFT, or Combat Fitness Test, which employs more practical exercises (after all, we don't run around in shorts and t-shirts and running shoes in combat) including minor obstacle navigation, which is run first clean, then carrying ammo, then carrying another person, and other such exercises meant to be closer to combat than crunches and pullups are. That, too, has a minimum score on paper that's far lower than what you're actually expected to achieve.

  • @dirtbro413 youre right but most of them would still make it through bootc camp

  • @dirtbro413 the army teaches team work too, they dont leave men behind

  • @dirtbro413 This is actually Army though. But i know what you mean i have so many buddys who talk shit about t the Army to me and then later want to join and before i try to get them in i get them to take a PFT. And half the time the do the minimum its pathetic.

  • @dirtbro413 AMEN

  • @dirtbro413 Im a Marine and I hate it when the Army tries to one up us, when there training is now a week shorter then it used to be, and they get more sleep. and also the use of cell phones whenever they want.

  • @AaronfromWM Army will always be a pile of shit .. the proof is in the product...and it shows

  • @AaronfromWM The MARINES aren't the toughest branch out there. I would love to see you make it through navy SEAL training. Better yet, join the Army and try to become a Ranger or a Green Beret. I bet you won't be able to do it.

  • @jacobbis4lovers stfu. the seals are a select few in the navy and the rangers are a select few in the army. all Marines are hard ass killers...ever heard of MARSOC? and dont act like you know how tough it is unless you have actually done it

  • @sportscar50 Like I said, go through army Ranger training and then talk shit about the army. You can sign up for special forces but I doubt you would make it past the first day. Not even navy seals can make it through. Navy SEALS and Rangers are hard ass killers, too. Every branch is trained to fight, so shut the fuck up and stop thinking your'e better than everyone else just because you're a marine.

  • @jacobbis4lovers i dont think im better then everyone else i know im better then everyone else

  • @jacobbis4lovers The SEALS also aren't a branch you frigging moron. They are the Spec Ops of the Navy and only a few thousand of them exist. The Marines ARE a branch of over 200,000 and are a legit deployable fighting force. For comparison, MARSOC Marine are Spec Ops and only about 200 of them exist, with their training arguably topping the SEALs.

  • @tommygun6644 SEALs are better. You can't even argue about jar head spec ops being close to SEALs. You lose.

  • @JesusTrolls No, MARSOC is better. YOU lose =P

  • @tommygun6644 SEALs Are The Best. You Lose. Game Over.

  • @tommygun6644 You lost. :) Have a nice day.

  • @JesusTrolls "Jar head spec ops". ? Special Operations units hold the highest standards and are each the best at what they do individually. Special Operators are the smartest/fastest/strongest mother fucking cowboys in the west. They're the Sheriffs friend. Everyone's little game here of "whos the best" is an immature, uneducated, and pointless. Those are traits that they don't look for in the Special operations community.

  • @tommygun6644

MARSOC was only recently created (with much controversy). It was made up initially Force Recon Marines and other hand picked support men and served UNDER Navy SEALs in Naval Special Warfare Group One. MARSOC current numbers are roughly 2,500 Marines and sailors. The first MARSOC company ever deployed into combat was **KICKED** out of Afghanistan in 2007 by an Army general for excessive violence against civilians. This brought an abrupt end to what was to be a historic deployment.

  • Comment removed

  • @WHOhasFaLL3n So tell me, where is it you got such an extensive knowledge of the armed forces? Are you in the service yourself?

  • @tommygun6644 Under Cent Com, all special forces, live, breathe and train together these days.

  • @tommygun6644 Are you fucking retarded?

Just because you say the MARSOC is better than Navy SEALs doesn't mean they ARE better, that's your opinion. Not a fact.

  • @Tord176 Each branch's Special Forces have different missions and their training embodies what they will be doing throughout their careers. Their training is equally difficult in its own right and all are critical to our military. As a sailor I know the SEALs, and green berets are tough, and we all know an Army ranger is equally badass but nobody has made an argument for USAF Combat Controllers. Look it up

  • @Dalarin1991 Each military branch and special forces should be respected in the same way. No one gives a flying fuck who you like better.

  • @tommygun6644 Topping BUD/s? Doubt that honestly.

  • @tommygun6644 there's approximately 2400 MARSOC Marines :-)

  • @tommygun6644 Ya, SEALS are part of the SOPCOM force.

  • @jacobbis4lovers Arent you just a tough little motherfucker. Behind your desk. On your computer. Yeah buddy, you're real fuckin tough aren't ya?

  • @dirtbro413 It takes a soldier to learn all of his basics in 10 weeks than what a marine has to learn in 13 weeks.

  • i thought it was HOORAH?

  • its HOOAH!, at least u tried tho

  • OORAH!

  • HOOAH! sounds a little bit better just cuz it doesn't just start randomly

  • this is the part where all those kids who sucked at climbing the rope in gym class slow people down. this is something id absolutely love doing. climbing has always been fun and easy....and the first part....cant everyone do that on their own??? the walls are what, 10 feet tall maybe? run up and grab onto the top, pull yourself up. aren't the marines supposed to be somewhat muscled....enough upper body strength to pull yourself over a wall at least. then again im some skinny kid.

  • this is basic though I think lol they arent finished being made into marines yet

  • i should hope they are not fully made into marines if they are supposed to be the "best" non-special forces units of the u.s. military

  • i thought u couldnt have help going up that tower at 1:59?

  • Comment removed

  • Holy shit that looks like a heart pounder

  • lmao!

  • Thise course scared the shit out of me.. i hate heights

  • looks like fun

  • At the start. Is everybody lame or what? MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

  • hey I was in B co 2-58

  • how do you get up those big walls in the beginning?

  • there is a rope down the side i think

  • i think what happens is one soldier on the ground lifts another one up then when one of em is on top, he pulls the guy on the ground up

  • ya, im pretty sure u are right, i had to do my aptitude test and they showed me a video, and they did that in the video.

  • wallrun, XD

  • afi?

lol pretty random for this video

  • AFI rules bitch

  • AFI is gay

  • You're probably one of those faggots who thinks ICP is actual music.

  • nah i listen to metal only, i dont know wat ICP is,but u must be an emo by defending afi nice try dumb ass

  • Yeah, let me tell you. I cut myself and bitch about it on MySpace because I don't have any REAL friends. God, you wouldn't know Metal if it fucked you in the ass in the middle of the day.

  • When the fuck did I call AFI metal? And you call ME stupid!? That..My GOD, that just made my day. And Lamb of God sucks. Please though, keep flaming me so I can see just why your parents shouldn't have had kids.

  • watever fag i dont see u as a big star so that makes u dipshit to Lamb of god

go to hell dumbass u aint a metal head at all

    poser

  • Alright, kid, whatever. Keep tossing around curse words if it makes you feel cool.

Also, for the record, I could give a shit less what a shitstain like you would think.

  • kid? w.e poser

  • Funniest comment I've seen posted, ever.

And yeah, AFI is not metal.

  • nm i can never join the military...I can't climb a tree, much less a 4.5 story tower thats kinda reminding me of the leaning tower of pisa

  • I can't climb a tree either, but I can handle buildings and whatnot.

Don't let that stop you. If you wanna join, do it. You won't be the most out of shape dude there anyway.

  • You'd be surprised what you can do after Marine Corps bootcamp, you'll be a beast and Im afraid of heights like no tomarrow but I enlisted anyways.

  • lmao...argh! (sound of the beast)

  • how many years do u have to be a marine?

  • I dunno. Too long.

  • its 4 years.
