  • should specify it's a rim-fire as a centerfire works quite differently with loading.

  • thats one ugly gun I still love the lever action thoe

  • @MegaBradybunch How do you call a Marlin 39 Mountie ugly?? Its one of the best .22's ever made.

  • henry H001 lever action ?

  • @druisteen1 Marlin 39 Mountie.

  • winchester 9422 ?

  • @druisteen1 Marlin 39 Mountie.

  • Hello. If that is a Henry's (& it looks like it could be) I have the exact same Rifle. Could you tell me what kind of scope you have on it & do you like it? I plan on getting a scope on mine soon. Thank You. sincerely, JAMES.

  • Do you need earplugs firing a gun like this on .22lr ammo?

  • No dissrespect but I agree with the others here. If you're doing a demo of something, specialy guns, get it right. Rimfires may crack or dent your barrel if dryfired without a snapcap or the like. Also, in ANY case you point the barrel in an unsafe direction (like f.ex your hand) you make sure everyone knows it's not loaded. Usualy by pulling that "bar" back, also called the slide. It's a beautiful weapon though, I just don't like the english straight grip on the but...

  • @Ajzra It's called the bolt, dude, not the slide. How 'bout you get it right?

  • @Ajzra And it's more likely to crack the firing pin. Why does everyone try to be an expert on guns when they don't know what the eff they're talking about?

  • Use snap caps for dry fire bro.

  • Don't dry fire a .22 BRO420 XTREME

  • If you are going to do a demo do it right. Never put your had over the end of the barrel.

  • @Silverfox131 Its a tube fed rifle, you have to...asshat.

  • thats a marlin 39a

  • do u know the model of that rifle that does have that loading guage on the side

  • I guess its a 22.cal

  • correct!

  • nice gun bro!

  • winchester model 1894 .30-30

  • thanks everyone for watching and commenting !! M1 Carbine video on the way

  • I'd rather have a 'loading gate' model. Loading that way seems like a bit of a hastle. Looks a bit like loading a musket :)

  • i can shoot mine faster hten that but i have a winchester model 1842 i think

  • ahahaha

  • they have clips to, and dont drive fire your gun youl wear it you dumbass

  • history project = i couldnt fire the rifle on video. I realize its bad, but guesss what..... the rifle still works.

  • k. just wondering, soory for calling u a dumbass

  • I realize that but damn , how many times do you have to dry fire the poor thing? lol

  • @patriotnations07 You're a dumbass for dry firing it that many times. The Marlin 39's are notorious for having their firing pin break from dry firing.

  • @fortaaron They have clips..clips..you mean the clip that loads a magazine? For future reference, clips are little pieces of metal, used to load magazine's. Magazines, are where the bullets are held. It could be a detachable magazine(such as on a glock, AR-15..etc), internal magazine(such as M1 garand to name 1) or a tubular magazine(such as in some lever-actions, and pump-actions).

  • okay, for everyone who has issues with this video.

    1. video was made for history project, for highschoolers, who, if barraged with technical terms such as cartridge and bolt, they would be like, wtfff is he talking about. it was a simple history project. IN NO WAY IS THIS A VIDEO TRYING TO DESCRIBE IN DETAIL HOW THIS PARTICULAR RIFLE WORKS.

  • That little bar is the bolt, they're not called bullets, they are cartridges; the bullet is the projectile that is fired. Don't dry fire a rim fire. It's bad to dry fire any rifle, but especially a rimfire. You can snap the firing pin off, and its bad for the hammer on a marlin to do that...or any levergun for that matter.....Why don't you stop neglecting that little 39 and send it my way....

  • Nice Marlin 39 and you can tell by looking at the stock

  • its soooooo bad to dry fire a rimfire like that lol but good video

  • you need to learn a bit! dry fire can damage the extractor and hammer! that bar thing is called the bolt and a muzzle loader is a black powder firearm you know from the civil war erra but yeah the Henry 22 is a nice rifle i just picked one up yesterday first small caliber i purchased! rock solid rifle! i recomend it just from feel!

  • i realize the potential damage dryfiring can cause. This was for a history project so i had no choice :0

  • and yes, this was a industrial revolution prokject selling a lever action rifle, a powerpoint was included that you did not see :) which included info on black powder muzzel loaders

  • oh my bad! try and get some azoom snap caps for trial fires just a plastic dummy round with a simulated primer if you can find them! i just use spent shells with a slight inward crimp on them so they will chamber easier!

  • yeah snap caps would have been awesome, i forgot about those buggers.

  • Nice!!

  • thats a marlin right?

  • it is indeed
