I was17 once as well. I think. The Pumpkins were the mainstay that kept my head up. Now I am almost 36 and have two boys who are being raised to listen to Corgan's nasal driven self harmonies and his shockingly time tested lyrics. There may not have been a better songwriter in the past 25 years. They influenced so many people and will forever be my favorite band of all time.

Wow, reading these comments, I can see that pumpkin fans are very deep intelligent people. The one beiber comment was marked as spam ^_^. I was just a lil toddler in the 90's. Now I'm home-schooled at 17, this is the most lonesome time of my life. SmashingPumpkins helps me get through it though. Some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

When I was younger, back in the 1990's I went through a rough period. I learned alot about love & loss. I thought for a while I wish I could take away & bury all the pain I'd felt. I learned how to be happy when I discovered how much I need my pain. Just like I need my joy, my sorrow, my mourning. It's just as much a part of me as any other aspect of life. It just makes you want to give in. And if you're giving in, you're giving up. This song had any amazing effect on me carrying on.
