  • Go on home british bastards go on home.

    Tal

  • I really do hate the Brits and this is why...RIP brothers who have died.

  • Respect from Scotland. If only us Scots hadn't sold out so easily.

  • Since 1969 ( at least ) the IRA has been anti unionist and anti protestant. They murdered and drove the 30% protestant population out of the south. They would do the same now if they got control over Northern Ireland. The extreme loyalists are just as bad. Its all about rackets. Drugs, protection rackets, robberies, and bullying the locals.

  • @truthbetoldni "They murdered and drove the 30% protestant population out of the south" .... - do you seriously believe that 30% of the Southern Irish population fled the country? - this is a false statement to say the least.

"They would do the same now if they got control over Northern Ireland" - Hate to be the one to break this to you, but they are in control SF and the DUP rule jointly and come may 5th we may well yet have McGuinness as 1st minister and SF as the largest party.

  • heros thats all i can say.....HEROES

  • When the early days of the troubles were upon us why did protestants aswell as catholics flee their areas? Like in Derry for instance, the west bank of the Foyle used to have 30, 000 protestants now there is only about 300 residents there

  • @WARISHELL09 Sadly there would have been reprisals but (not meaning to sound glib) we know which side started it.

  • @godbrother10 What do you mean there would have been reprisals? Protestants were being burned out of their homes at the exact same time for fuck sake, do you never read into the situation here?

  • @WARISHELL09 How can it have been at the exact same time. One side had to have started the attacks and one side must have reacted. Look, its not worth us arguing on youtube over this, I can assure you my opinion won't be changed and I'm sure neither will yours.

  • @godbrother10 Either way the north belongs to the rest of the island,no matter what anyone says the 6 counties should be unified to the 26.

  • everything the british done to kill off the ira and its support made it 10 times stronger i think if the trouble in the north went on another 4 - 5 years the ira would have had the support of the hole republic and we would of had a all out war....

  • We should have the right to freedom who are the british to deny us that right fuck them and there German queen this is Ireland.you won't leave then we'll force you to leave!!!

  • gerry adams our mandela

  • Great video ,just one comment though, when the Civil Rights Movement started in 68/69 the IRA as an organised armed entity barely existed, the IRA membership in Derry at that time was less than 12 ,the stewards at Civil Rights Marches might have been Republican minded but were not members of the IRA and certainly not armed.

  • @oceallaigh2003 The Stewards were members of the Official IRA they were limited in numbers and as you said limited in arms. These factors led to the split.

  • the civil rights march , which was banned by the way, was not peaceful, a large mob of rioters broke away and started a riot against the army, ,bricks stones and god knows what , they veered off the main march, at least one gunman was photographed , and shot fired towards the soldiers , funny as this vid is typical one sided , what about all the much worse republican atrocities, the hunger strike and dirty prottest was self inflicted

  • @TheMightOfTheEnglish , prisoners being beaten,if they wont come out of cells ,and use violence not to come out , well you have to use force to get them out , still better than prison warders being murdered outside. these wernt peaceful political politicians being locked up , these people commited murder ,killings and crime ,they sould never of had any status but criminal, no one allowed them to die, it was force feed ,or their families could of got them off the hunger strike

  • what changed between the early 70s and the late 70s? Nothing. Their actions were Politically motivated not criminally. This is evident from the Hunger Strikes themselves, criminal organisations don't produce hunger stirkers willing to starve to affirm their veiw.

The british government allowed a fellow MP to starve himself to death, this wouldn't have happened in a civilised establishment.

  • So wrong. yes the march on the 30th of January as techically illegal as it had been banned, but this does not explain the heavy concentration of top military figures present in Derry that day, nor the type of orders the soldiers were evidently acting on. You talk of a photo please could you provide this because obviously you must be the only person in the world in possension of such an item, all volunteers present were unarmed in anticipation of a crack down.

  • the part were it said the army used plastic bullits ,water cannon and cs gas on marchers , is totally misleading , rioters yes , and british occupation ?? how can we occupy , a province that is part of the UK ,the curfew was because the ira were useing the catholic population to hide amonst them, use them as a shield ,to attack security forces, they used them ,as safe houses , arms dumps etc, thats, thats why the nationalists were targeted ,more so than the protestants

  • The falls road curfew was an attack on the Republican community. from the 3-5 June the area was saturated by CS gas. Either three or five people were killed. Homes were wrecked and furniture smashed in the street. Crucifixes were smashed. Why at this time was there no curfew for the shankhill, and I do't know where you get your information but at this stage the IRA was minute compared to loyalists attacks.

  • i love this song

  • Great video...

just one question wasn't the GF agreement 1998 and not 1999 as put at 5:20...it's not a criticism as i still gave the video 5* :-)

  • you are correct, this is a mistake on my part.

  • ok cool...great vid though :)

  • I love this song!!

  • Great Video, hope those days are over for good, so lets go forward. Because to many have died for religious beliefs over the centuries.

  • Thank-you. I'd like to correct you though many people died over political beleifs it was Republican and Loyalist not (as the British media prefers it) Catholic and Protestant.

  • Thanks again, for pointing this out, however if you look through history, from the begining of the time on christianity, the Romans, the Spaniards,Cromwell, Hitler and even to this present day, people have died, because of the religious beliefs. Yep! thats true too... The Brithish Media did prefer to use the wording catholic & protestant for their message. Long remember the likes of Wolfe Tone, Parnell, and Michael Collins.

  • Great video.

    Tiocfaidh ar la.

  • Nice

  • GREAT UPLOAD 5*****
