I am a fan of Vadalis. Masha Allah, Subhan Allah wah keya talent Allah Taala nay is family ko diya hay. Geo Geo Geo, Wah Wah, you made me listen to this song over and over, again and again. thanks for uploading such a nice video
Close your eye and listen I mean really listen. You will forget your hate for others and love for selective few. You won't care what race, color or religion the rest of the world believes in.
Dnji Mukhtar, wat can i saw little brother but this album and especially this song blew me away! May you be blessed with even more talent thn u already are, i for one have nothing but admiration and pure pleasure for your work......x
Charka doesn't mean human body... but I see the context it is used in... more as a prop to demostrate her saddness as she awaits/longs for her lover to return. Very soulfull.. love it.
re murkh Charkha theri 7 kundaliyaan aur eak sharir hai. the human body is called a Charkha because it's cycle is eternal. and Charkha is the collective of all the checkpoints in your body. So Yes Charkha is a human body.
@BlackEyePeasFan100 Charkha is actually meant as a rosary/prayer in this song. When he says "manka pa mann da je shahoor hove" which literally means put the bead(manka) of ur heart if you have the knowledge as in the beads of a rosary when u pray. It's not a song about a woman waiting for her love but rather the birag (sorrow of separation) for God.
Yaar absolutly devine sufi kalaam. The depth of emmotions is deeper than the seven oceans. And some how in Punjabi, you can not express this emmotion and the heights of spritual Ishq in any other language.
@qwertyuijohn...dude wht r u talking abt..?i can t even think abt it...nd u plz don t use this word 'insult' again for them....i did nt gv them any numbers.....i was trying to say tht in the clasic music spcl in punjabi clasic thr is no one above on them except Nusrat sahab.....
No language is really workable to express their love to the Almighty and Kamil Murshid. Thanks a ton for uploading this beautiful spiritual rhythem. No WORDS again.
1. just like the initial few lines, if English translation could run along with the song, people like us who don't understand the original punjabi language that much, can enjoy song much more.
2. If was first listing to the li\/e \/srsion of NDT\/ , there was a part in that "eid aayi..mera yaar ni aaya..", which was amazing, if that was part of this one also, it would be icing on cake.
3.Lastly, i feel models were not necessary, in such pure sufi song.
it is being kept alive. Sikh Kirtan is often sang in thsi style. look at Gurmat Sangeet Project, its all about keeping traditional Sikh music, and classical indian music alive. Namdhari Sikhs do some of the best Kirtan, they use traditional saaj (instuments) lyk the taus, rabab etc.. and sing in classical raag etc.
@rishikhare Eid ayi mera yaar na aya is a part of a another song called Thaiya Thaiya by Baba Bulleh Shah. Sometimes singers improvise and put in different lyrics when they perform live.
I am emotional after watching this video, i have no words to explain . I totally forget that I was at work. I felt i was in heaven while watching the video.

I don't know who is Mukhtar Sahota, but he definitely isn't one of the two singers. Singers are Puranchand ji Wadali and his son Lakhwinder Wadali.
