  • jesus that tree got fucked up

  • is this shelob lair ? im on the way to mordor now !

  • I think this is amazing; I think spiders are amazing creatures despite their reputation. If I gave an average person an unlimited amount of weblike material and told him to construct to scale a human-sized web, chances are, he could not do it. The amount of math and calculation involved, the architectural skills needed to achieve the geometry - most people just would not be able to pull it off, and yet every web building spider does this solely on instinct. Tell me this is not incredible.

  • Would that area be called a "Web site"?

  • @musikTECH hahaha awesome comment

  • Proof that everything is still bigger in Texas.

  • yes ill come and visit you cuz in canada.... yh not after seeing shit like this

  • Burn the Tree Burn the FUCKING TREE NOW

  • Two words... Shelob's lair.

  • Created with Flip4Mac Trial

  • @musikTECH haha

  • @dave635csi lol

  • ok so it was just loads of spiders and not a huge spider? darn i was hopeing it would be something interesting

  • dammit i missed this episode of wild case files :/ what made it was it a HUGE pider or was it just loads of fucking crazy spiders

  • @werewolfdragon1 Just loads of different species of spiders taking advantage of an extra-large mosquito population. They've cleared out by now.

  • NUKE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, JUST TO BE SAFE

  • FUCKING SHIT, THEY LL KILL US ALL!

  • In 1973 Houston running thru the forest I ran right into a web not as big as this but a extremely large one with the "Biggest Spider" I have ever seen...! and i stopped running just 1" from him or her !,it was all i could do to stop !,after I went back and told everybody what I had seen a "Big as your Fist Spider"!!!! in the woods with a very large web !!!!! and guess what nobody believed "Me"!!!!! "MY QUESTION IS WHAT KIND OF SPIDER WAS IT" ?

  • @robbypjr I think I know the kind of spider you're talking about, the same thing happened to my dad a few years ago, it's called an "imaginaracitus spider".

  • @RAKIMALLAH12

    "imaginaracitus spider"

Wow, you're about as useless as windscreen wipers on a submarine at taking the piss

  • @GazAnders69 hahahaha! your fucking right, man. I enjoyed myself though

  • PETA activists should be placed right in the middle

  • i'd rather die, than walk into these spider's web O_O

  • Hopin' they stay...? How many eggs in a spiders nest? A thousand?... A thousand spiders having a thousand spiders having a thousand spiders.... Oh yeah, we have a Spielberg movie...

  • im arachnaphobic but this is cool

  • HI Spider.

    nice spider,

    good spider,

    let me pet you-

    WITH MY FOOT!

    good spider,

    dead spider

  • It's interesting to me how similar spider webs and bird nests are.

  • Fuck that shit.. nuke it from orbit! It's the only way to be sure.

  • @Justicar333 dude no thats a horrible idea! Dont you know the radiation would only cause the spiders to GROW?! lol but honestly dont kill them.... i like spiders. Spiders are awesome

  • I love watching how thay spin a web /? good luke

  • Why do young people have such difficulty in speaking. Like um, sorta-kinda cool and creepy and all.

  • oh sh*t i live in texas..

  • set it on fire!

  • There's sections of woodland in England jus now that look jus like that but it's thousands of caterpillars. Think it's the beasties takin over the planet. They're tryin 2 catch us all in the web

  • matthew rader, not too bad looking fulla

  • well considering how many acres there all the web is i am sure its nothing to the sight that exists to my backyard where there is a colony of cyrtophora citricolous. The web is now more that 2 metres high and 1 metre wide. Most are females and during the summer the network will extend all over the tree next to the nest and the bush /fence above it . I guess inthe summer the network of nests will be about 4 metres and 2 metres wide covering all the lemon tree

  • howd you know i love spiders

  • the ppl in texas are so fucking stupid...

  • @mantheman100 I live in texas, I'm not stupid, but these fuckers in the video are lmao.

  • @iNvat0rZim ahhahah true dat :D

  • They do this in The Rainforests, so its not something that only happens in Texas the ones in the Rainforest would be 10x bigger than the one here

  • can you picture walking under that then all the spiders start coming down on you or like maybe there is not a bunch of little spiders but just one huge spider (O_O)

  • last place i want to be... in the middle of that web

  • thats a fricken garden spider XD

  • I saw that in texas. It was amazing. I put videos and photos of it on my pages and later it seemed people heard of it and found my pages. I kinda did it for fun but, I guess it got huge *grin* punn intended

  • well this video shows that spiders can live in communities just like ants or bees but only some kinds... amazing video

  • that's so fucking gross.

  • If spiders make spider webs, and we have cob webs, what's a cob? Lol!!!

  • Yeah, actually I think the term is from spiders that would build webs among fields of corn. So that was generally where some farmers back in the day would see them, so that's how cobwebs got their name, from the webs spiders would attach to the corncobs for an anchor.

  • Thanks. Very interesting!

  • @blessedbHisName101

cobwebs are from the word cobbe which is now an obsolete word for spider

  • They're ninja spiders, we never see them. They're pro.

  • Hahahaha!!!!! That's too funny! Thanks for the laugh of the day! You have a great sense of humor. Hahaha!

  • Sarcastic or not I'm always here to please:)

  • Actually cob is an archaic word for (venomous) spider. So yeah.

  • crafty mexicans......

  • that would make a crazy fire

  • I am fascinated by all creatures great and small,it's so much fun to observe their behaviour in their own natural environments...

  • Spiders do get trap in their own web just as easy as the fly,but they are in their own home they know their way around the web they spun, there are many type of silk the spider produces, the sticky kind to trap prey and the non sticky kind (safe thread ),and this is used to a strong support to the spokes of the web,the spider doese know which is which, they have the most amazing sense of touch, they know how to avoid the sticky web..

  • khmerserey1:

spiders can eat their own net, they can dissolve it in their mouth. so unless they get dramatically entangled, if only one of their legs sticks to one of the sticky strings or something like that, then the spider can easily fix the problem by eating it.

  • I wish I could fix my problems by eating them!!

  • that's is enough line to if it was on a fishing reel here to earth to the 2nd galixey... if it dident stick, plus wow save me the webs ha ha to bad i cant plaster all that tangled mess................................

  • that is so creepy

  • Ah man it reminds me of the nasty web on the first Resident Evil game ! Get out the grenade rounds !

  • is their any thing that is stronger than a spider???

  • some wasps

  • me.

  • DUH! Chuck Norris.

  • dayum, nigga got owned by the troll

  • Everything in Texas is bigger.

  • everything but your tiny ass dick

  • Rofl. Looking for attention eh? Dumbass trolls. You're wasting air, go die.

  • yea but i only want attention, you are gonna need it if you want anyone to see that tiny ass fucking penis

  • set a flamethrower to those nasty bastards.... i hate spiders :(

  • they were here before you.. and if they really wanted to.. they'd eat your ungrateful self if they wanted to, you get along with them they get along wiht you, just remember who keeps the bug population on earth in check :D :)

  • I initially thought it was a banana spider, but it's definitely not, whatever it is. Every organism is just trying to adapt to these changing times I reckon

  • lol. it has always been changing times and every organism has been trying to adapt always..

  • That's funny.. I noticed a couple of weeks ago there was this exact spider building a web in my backyard, there's only 2 of these now and many many black widows still.. but they eat other bugs. The spiders that drop down from the trees at night are HUGE! I used to walk around on the phone at night through webs, until I brought a flashlight one night O_O

  • proves that everything in texas is so fucked up..

  • especially the retards being interviewed. yuk yuk

  • in my 6th grade class that would cry if he saw a spider

    even a picture lol

    but i love spiders :]

  • i really hate spiders! once i was in the bath tub and i saw one crawling roight beside me so i took off and ran to my dad and got the shivers! (NOTE: BE CAREFUL!

  • i was in the bath once too, and i ran to your dad. he is a bad man. he touched me.

  • spiders don´t like each other

  • im terified of spiders i would burn that tree down if i could but im like learning about them i thin they can do some cool stuff i just hate them

  • Dear God! Al Capone on eight legs!!

  • proves that EVERYTHING in Texas is larger than life!

  • i'm arachnophobic and i now regret watching this video

  • if you were really arachnophobic you wouldn't have searched for spider vids. you just have an exagerated form of the common revulsion that most people feel towards things that have more than four legs.

  • lol i guess you're right... if i were a true arachnophobe then i wouldn't have watched this video..

but let me tell you i didn't search for spider vids! don't you know the youtube effect?! how one thing leads to another :p

  • yes, i do. that's how i discovered The Dresden Dolls.

  • I believe you are incorrect. As for me, I don't mind insects, but have an irrational, huge fear of spiders IRL - however, I think they are very fascinating, and love reading about them and watching them online

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • That was down the road from me... It looks alot like what those web worms make.

  • OMG EW

  • no.

  • Flamethrowers much?

  • there's no way the spiders spun that web overnight. It was out in the wilderness.

  • *runs like hell away from that state*

  • Hahahaha, nah. Texas is amazin'!

  • Beautiful.

  • he he nice one

  • HOLY CRAP. God I really hope that's in West Texas!!! Just keep it away from me!!

  • holy shit dude...i had that yellow and black spider on my front door one day. they make a distinct zig zag on their web. shit...dont want that to happen to my trees...they get big...there are 3 types of it. 2 are small, the 3rd gets HUGE

  • if everything is bigger in Texas, will Viagra lose sales???

  • well considering that most people in Texas own guns and huge trucks, I don't think we have anything to worry about in that respect, if you get my drift. xD

  • Hahahaha!

  • everything is big in texas...

  • holy shit spiders scare meh!

  • They are "Social Spider" One of the only known spiders to live in "Colonies". However, the spider in the middle of the video is the Black and Yellow Argiope Spider (Argiope Aurantia).

  • I just know that the black and yellow argiope can spin very strong, elegant webs and can tackle a grasshopper equal to its size with no problem whatsoever.

  • OK then. Thanks!

  • "welcome to the waldorf arachnia. please, let me take your egg sac."

  • Something must have happened to the population of whatever it is that preys on these spiders.

  • I HATE SPIDERS!

  • that's freakin awesome tell the spiders to do that in my house id let them.

  • ya i agree i would burn that hole tree.

  • i must admit i was walking in my garden and shit myself when i saw a little spiders web! and im a man!

  • that's incredible. even the little spiders in my back yard amaze me, that they can have a strand of web go from one branch, to a plant 6 feet away with nothing inbetween

  • if i was der ..id light the tree on fire!!.BURN SPIDERS! BURN!

  • Ffs an elephant can even get caught in that web lol

  • haha a molotov or a friggin flamethrower

  • A Molotov Cocktail will clear that mess right out

  • 2 things to remember about spiders: 1. They eat bugs, cockroach to them is a delicious treat. 2. They are more scared of you than you are of them. Unless they're a giant poisinous evil spider. In that case flee in terror from them before they try to murder you!
