@GrenMoyo i think we have a really good gunlaw here in Norway.
u must be member in a gunclub for 6 months before u can buy your own.
Handgun is ONLY for competition and training here, u cant use them for home defence ore things like that. Not even the police carry guns here therfore 99,9% of the criminals neither carry guns.
i think Norway have the best gunrules in Europe not too hard and not too loose.
@servietter actually that sounds horrible, that's what guns are for, they protect your family and your loved ones. I really hope that one day they remove that and allow you to be able to defend yourself from violent crime. If it happens so rarely there....why should there be any ruling against it :/
how much harder is it to get a handgun than here in the US? It's not to hard where i am? How are the gun laws?

@GrenMoyo well i guess thats the reason why it happen so rarely here:)
its very little criminals caring guns so the question "home defence" isnt a issue here
if everybody could buy i gun for home defence it would be guns in almost every homes here and i dont think thats a good idea.
u can see how wrong it has gone in the states, were "everybody"runs around carrying guns.
we are the nr3 biggest gunland in the world, still only about 1 person a year get killed by it here,1 too many but still lovenr
