Kirkland is a different fighter under Anne Wolfe - he looked so much weaker in this fight, both physically and mentally. I think he destroys Ishida if that rematch is ever made. On another note, Joe Cortez needs to stop refereeing - I'm not trying to claim that Kirkland could have come back, but that was a premature stoppage. Cortez is horrible

Ishida is my hero right now. 5 of his six losses were long ago, very early in his career. The sixth one was by SD. I believe he has more talent than anyone realizes.... I hope he beats Williams and gets a well-deserved shot at the world title.

I think there is a MASSIVE differnce between being KNOCKED OUT & being KNOCKED DOWN, albeit several times. IMO, Kirkland has a TERRIBLE defence & poor balance. Not taking ANYTHING away from this fella though, as he caught JK with some real good, if not devastating punches. He certainly did not appear KOed though...

@DrWisdomOK I disagree. After the REAL Kirkland's destruction of the much better talented and better puncher in Angulo, I think Ishida's people will do anything from letting a rematch happen. Don't be be surprised if Ishida loses to the lesser known Khurtsidze in December.
