Lou and Spike both made me cry...lou wanted to protect spike so he lifted his foot and died...and spike didn't want to give up...spikes face made me cry.

I have looked EVERYWHERE for the ending music. I know that it's the Flashpoint theme, but it's played in a different manner. I tried using Nickof24's name for the music, and I got jack. If anyone can find a video of this song, anything at all, I'd really appreciate a link or two.

This video is, for the most part, unedited. The only edits are the flashback, and Spike's voice as he tells Lou, "We're all getting out alive, today." Other than that, totally authentic.

That soundless scream...I'm actually not sure whether I'd want to hear the sound or not, because from the look on his face as he fell to his knees, a broken man, it would probably haunt me. I saw the original episode, and anyone else who did will agree with me on this one.

@sergeantassassin2 They do the same silent scream thing in Day Game (in the 4th season), and several other episodes fade out the sound for songs when everyone's trying to cope with what just happened. I like the style personally.

As for this being marked as 3x01...That's CBS' convention, the episode was actually 2x10 on CTV.

You can just see his composure, his whole demeanor shatter when that landmine goes off. This may just be a show, but it is portrayed with such realism that we get emotionally invested in the characters.

A part of Spike DIED that day, and while he may move on, that part of him will never be healed. A scar will forever remain where Lou used to be.

I just got into this show a while back. Right when I saw his foot move I froze, not to sound not a drama queen or anything but I fell on the floor in tears. I'm still in tears as of now. To see something like this, on a TV show let alone, even if its a stunt make to look real on TV, is tragic. R.I.P Lou
