This was a great demo, and very responsibly done. I've seen some kids setting off what looks like a pound of copper thermite on youtube, and.. lets just say they're all still lucky to have fingers.

Iron thermite gives you a very energetic and impressive rolling reaction, copper thermite tends to off in a bang or poof.
