Sequoia National Park - Journey through the Giant Forest

Quick question. Did you see many other hikers on the trail? I know the High Sierra Trail goes for miles so it may limit the usage a bit. We're heading up in September and I've never taken this trail before. Thanks for sharing your trip.

@teejate Saw one really cool guy hiking alone before the elevation gain began. He was helpful telling us about the fools gold around if we looked. That was it, other then him it was a lonely hike. It is definitely worth it, but be prepared because the elevation change is very difficult.  Hiking this trail in Sequoia definitely changed my perception of life on Earth as a whole, definitely worth it.

@MichaelLatulippe Awesome. And yeah, 2,300 feet in elevation change is a bit of work when you're starting at 5K or 6K but it's so worth it. Thanks for this tip and it sounds like the trail rocked your world. Very cool. That's what it's all about.
