yeah, i agree with her, i cant stress how important it is to know the size of the hole you will be caulking, regardless of what kind of caulk you want to use.
2 feet at a time..bull i am a carpenter..and i agree with the other guy its ok to caulk the whole length, if you are good and can apply ev evenly...also sometimes when you caulk its ok to use a dry finger if you know what u r doing, but you did pretty good

it is okay to run a caulk bead the entire lenght of the casing. trust me. I do it for a living
