  • a wolf would in disadvantage if it encountered a tiger or lion, beceause in size a wolf is smaller

but in encounter with a cougar, cheetah or lynx i think it would be equal chances for both,

the big cats have only 1 chance and thats a quick bite but if they mis they lose beceause of low stamina they tire up quick and can not defend therselfs, thats way they made 2 ambush when they hunt while wolves can run and hunt for hours,

and the movie you mention is fake,i think most people here now that

  • Beautifull Cat!!

  • @DanceswithUtube Eating a Jackal, my a*se! do you want to borrow my specs?

  • @borninfreedom you mean a fennec fox?

  • @pwnedeful No, a Bat eared Fox. It is bigger than the Fennec Fox.

  • His eating a fox.

  • I was just waiting for that caracal to rip one of their throats open.

That catch looks almost like a hyena babe to me. Buuuut I really doubt that. It's a juvenile something.

  • @DanceswithUtube no is a wild dog

  • Cats WILL protect humans if they are family. I have seen this several times. One of my cats attacked a dog 3 times her size because she thought my wife was in danger. Cats and dogs do think differently, though. For example, cats are very territorial and usually associate events and activities with specific locations, while dogs associate events with objects.

  • @abdi1983 good one!

  • O CARACAL É CARNICEIRO? Q. BICHO ELE ABATEU?

  • @metinGold lol are you dumb lions will eat your ass instead of guiding you they'll guide you into their mouth, cats cant dont take oders try calling a house cat over it'll just look at you, dogs listen

  • one more thing and then I'll shut up (maybe) ALL of a dogs power and strength is in it's jaws, and it's neck, a cat, on the other hand, all of it;s strength is all over, powerful jaws, strong neck, legs and back, all used for single solitary hunting, LOOK at this cat, nothing but muscle, the jackels?, thin framed and flighy under that fur.

  • besides that, anyone who says dogs are smarter than cats, this is false, if anything they're equally intelligent, their brains work in totally different ways, a dog(or any other packing canide) is typically not wired to operate alone, in a solitary one on one, a jackel would be no where near as gutsy, notice, they NEVER stop moving, they're not willing to go straight at it, the caracal on the other hand, KNOWS he could kill one of those jackels if he got ahold of it.

  • to all you dog lovers, pit a cat against a similar sized dog, and see who wins ;) that caracal KILLED that bat-eared fox =canine, because small wild cats like that do NOT savenge like larger cats will.

  • @metinGold Dogs depend on people. They see you as the pack leader. The relationship if FORCED. Cats however befriend and form bonds purely based on how much they like you and how you treat them.

A companionship with a cat is MUCH more valuable and means more than that with a Dog.

  • @metinGold Cats have saved many lifes. Cats have defended their owners against bears.

Your idiot if you think Cats don't show affection or love to their owners. If you raise a Lion he would beat any companionship a dog would offer.

  • Interesting, normally jackals almost seem playful, even when confronting a lion or hyena. This was the first time I've seen jackals in truly intimidating posturing.

  • wild how those dogs were trying to defend their dead

  • felines>Canines

  • @josevanreyes LolWUT!? No that's not true. Jackals are a bit smaller than cracals. Anyway Cats are lazy, not as playful, protective, always sleepin' When dogs are capable of chasing a cat up a tree, coz kitty tired of runnin'. Canines are quick and agile. GUESS WHAT? Some dog breeds are even BRED to hunt such animals like lions, etc if they can hunt those wild animals, bye bye kitty. DOGS CANINES are smarter than cats! Although felines can climb etc. Dogs survive coyote attacks unlike cats FACT.

  • @DrizzyDrake201111 Cats pound for pound would destroy dogs. A couger would demolish a wolf. A wild cat would beat a fox, a Cheetah is faster than a gray hound.

    Felines are better at everything.

  • stupid dogsters, well anoying creatures!

  • WELL DONE CARACAL I LOVE CATS BIG AND SMALL

  • I like Jackals but I love cats and the caracal is an amazing cat..can't help it.. look how brave he is and compare the covard dog-type of behaviour of the jackals - the low body position and the attacks from behind from 2 at the same time.. . cats just have way more style even when it comes to hunt and kill!

  • @watertothepeople The "dog-type of behaviour" just shows that the jackals are smarter .. One on one the jackals don't have a chance, so they are smart enough to team up and attack the cat from an angel where they don't risk injury from teeth or claws :)

  • I LOVES CATS,,,i love my grey tabby

  • Jackals are tards. Good to see a feline put an end to those bastards misery...hahahhaa

  • I wanted the jackals to kill it.

  • @AcidfartProductions keep wanting man, you'll need a smaller cat for that

  • @AcidfartProductions The jackals stand no chance , it will kill all your dogs thats the same size. Caracals ain't know house kitty.

  • Where is this music from? great video

  • I thought jackals were bigger! Didn't realise they're so small.

  • @gsmonks maybe because you never realized that the caracal is quite big? its huge compared to a cat.

  • Lol. Even teamwork failed. Dog sucks.

  • At 1:09, the jackal bit the caracal in the ass.. lol

  • umm dogs do not want to fuck with this mean killin machine cat, its very brave in this video, just wants to enjoy its meal lol

  • so thats what a jackal looks like ...I'd thought they'd be like a huge ass wolf or something..

  • After losing most of my cats to coyotes, I would love to watch one of these kitties SHRED a mangy coyote.

  • whats the difference between coyotes and jackals?

  • yes this is the real cat vs dog

  • What did the caracal kill? It looks some kind of canine.

  • @conoba Bat Eared Fox

  • A male lion will have owned all.

  • @kwfine Really? You think?

  • they could have let us hear the noises... sheesh

  • What was the caracal fighting for? Looks like another jackal or something

  • i like both animals :) both are beautiful creatures :D

  • The Caracal Cat is officially my favorite animal!

  • Does anyone know how high Caracals can jump?

  • @Abominatrix650

    10 feet in the air!!

  • @boxers7x5 10FT?!? PFFFT! Tigers can jump 15 (and from what I heard 30) ft! But for a cat that size that's pretty incredible!

  • @Abominatrix650

thats like saying if a midget can jump 10 ft but a super tall basketballer can jump 15 ft the basketballer is a better jumper. Its unreasonable.

  • @assassin4than Yeah? Well thanks for puttin' that into perspective for me! No really, thanks!

  • -_- jackals seem annoying

  • @adankarrito AGREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • cats are so relax and cool about situations...i like cats better then canines...cats are more lethal hunters

  • The stupid canines are annoying but ineffectual--like flies at a barbecue. If they'd hung around till after dinner, the lynx would have swatted both...

  • borninfreedom: Was a fox, I dont exactly recall the name of it but is a large eared african fox

  • haha the jackals cant even take it 2 on 1..!!

  • The most amazing part of this video is 0:57. The Caracal swipes with his paw as he turns mid sprint away from the Jackals so fast you can barely see it even in slo-motion. These cats are without equal in that way. They can run at full speed in one direction and leap into the air in a total other direction to capture a flying quarry.

  • Caracals are cute but I still prefer Jackals. They're great. I hate people that dislike them.

  • @AkaraShimizu Jackals are amazing animals and I like them too. Did you saw my latest video about Jackals?

  • @borninfreedom to be honest man I would be pretty irate if I was trying to enjoy a meal and some asshole kept nipping me in the ass.

  • @AkaraShimizu lol

  • @AkaraShimizu I love both animals, but for me the Caracal takes the edge.

  • @AkaraShimizu WTF?? those jackals are ugly as hell and even there are 2 of them, they are not brave enough to fight this caracal, pffff

  • @otherouterkin

Its called teamwork and cunning. Its not bravery because wild animals dont use human attributes. They know if they can win or lose in a fight and thats why a jackal uses teamwork.

I'm a cat lover but those jackals are absolutely adorable. (not in comparison to the caracal)

  • @AkaraShimizu If ever there were a sound reason to hate someone. You don't like what I like? How dare you, I hate you!

  • those jakals are mean little bitches

  • Damn jackals ganging up on the caracal.

  • stupid cat, instead of keep turning his back on the jackals to eat, he should chase one of the jackals down and kill it and then if the other one follows, kill it next, then he'll have a lot more meat to eat.

  • you're not taking into consideration how fast a Jackal is. the Caracal is hungry and doesn't want to use up that much energy. plus the other jackal would be biting at the caracal trying to defend its mate

  • @tomaf but it would be very difficult for the cat because it would need some time to kill the jackal (1 minute?). In this time the another jackal bites the back of the cat, it seems to be easy but I think not.

  • @tomaf nah-thats what the jackals want-for the cat to abandon the prey; meanwhile the other jackal gets the meal runs off and shares with the other jackal later...the caracal did the right thing and kept its prey

  • if they were german it would be gone jackal have no gut like a german shepard

  • By the way, caracals are now being bred with domestic cats. The offspring is called a caracat. It's like the savanah cat that is a combination of a several and a domestic.

These cats are still not common and they are very, very expensive, because they are so rare.

  • @Rayarena I want both Serval and caracal genes into a domestic cat-that would be cool....

  • I didn't realize caracals went after bat eared foxes until watching this

  • There's a video around of a Caracal standing ground in front of three grown up Hyenas and driving them off. Felines are surely not to be messed with.

I've seen normal wild cats doing good against stray dogs.

  • @himalayanspirit. I agree with what you said. Let me add that along with members of the weasel family, felines are the best fighters in nature.

  • wat zit die caracal nou te eten? is dat een dode Jackhals?

  • Hoi, nee het is een Bat Eared Fox die door de Caracal gedood is en de Jackals hebben het weg genomen waarnaar de Caracal het weer op kwam eisen.

  • Any cat that size (compared to the jackals) is something to respect. And perhaps the jackals have pups, which may explain the persistence and caution.

  • what exactly is the caracal's kill? a smaller, younger jackal?

  • No, a Bat Eared Fox.

  • @EdudLufetips i assume it's jackal...! maybe?

  • @EdudLufetips i assume it's jackal...! maybe?or a fox?

  • @EdudLufetips a bat eared fox

  • something like mini cougar vs mini wolves :)

or mini bobcat vs mini jackals XD

  • the caracal is like more of a lynx/bobcat type of cat, and jackals are much more like coyotes than wolves.

  • jackals got owned

  • If someone, wants my food and touch my back several times..of course I'll be angry!!

Caracal & Jackal, have special beauty, different but style beauty, wonderful creatures!

  • isnt that corpse a dead jackal

  • No, it is a Bat Eared Fox that was killed by the Caracal.

  • Thanks

  • that is what I thought, it sure looked like it.

  • All of these animals, the Caracal and the Jackals, are posturing. Neither of them wants an actual fight. Sure, the Caracal could kill one of them, but don't forget that in Africa a single deep scratch can become infected and infections kill. The Jackals and the Caracal know this.

  • why dont caracal just kill jackals??

  • @Martinsonas Can you tell me? Caracal don',t kill Jackals normaly.

  • Because caracal is small, they can kill Jackals.

  • if the caracal were to attack a jackal the other jackal will join the fight and the caracal will have no chance. either that or what happens most of the time. they run off with the food.

  • such majestic creatures

  • the dead animal is definitely a bat eared fox- it has huge ears and black legs and a bushy tail.

the jackals at no point appear to wish to attack the caracal-as the cat would kill them in a one to one fight -but they use their superior intelligence to harass and intimidate the cat-hoping the stress they cause will win-out just as hyenas do with lions and leopards -there is also a vid of a caracal standing its ground against 3 hyenas on youtube-caracals are also called desert lynx

  • Thanks steve273, you are right!

  • @steve273 not sure if the jackals have "superior intelligence" to any feline.....

  • @agricola actually most wild dogs do exceed most wild cats in intelligence, but cats far out weigh dogs in skill and as individuals, at self preservation. One on one, a dog of equal size is no match for a cat.

  • @Nominay I value your opinion on this matter, but I doubt what you say can be confirmed. The measure of an animal's intelligence is slippery. I think humans identify with a dog's intelligence easier because dogs are social and cats are not. Cats have shown remarkable intelligence, but it's less obvious because they don't communicate as well as dogs. There is a fascinating video of a lion deliberately giving away his position so that he can scare and confuse a herd of gazelles.

  • @OpiumBeast Hi, and thanks for sharing. I said "Most wild dogs exceed most wild cats in intelligence" meaning most, not all. It may be my opinion that the lynx shows no sign of having as much intelligence as the gray wolf, while I'm not sure if any dog is as intelligent as a leopard. Lions also show a higher form of intelligence than most species of cats. Is there research online to back up my claims? Maybe.

  • @Nominay

did you do research or something?

  • @SPredarmysoldier yeah, all my life

  • @Nominay

so explain 2 us then way dogs or wolves are no match for cats, maybe we can learn from you

  • @SPredarmysoldier from your sarcasm I doubt you could learn anything from me. I don't know what your opinions happen to be. When I was growing up I had subscriptions to Ranger Rick, National Geographic, National Wildlife, International Wildlife, others I forget, I watched Marty Stouffer religiously, I had books that dealt extensively into animals ... these days people can just watch videos on yt. Go watch a video.

  • @Nominay

dont feel attacked,i am just curious way you think a canine is no match for feline, thats all,i have been studieng wolves for years and i can tell you alot about wolves,

wolves fight smart and fight if it realy is necassary and i think big cats do the same, cats have more weapons thats true but are handycap when it comes 2 stamina and that makes them very weak, thats way they ambush and dont go face 2 face, still it depends on the animal the outcome

  • @SPredarmysoldier Cats are by and large designed to singularly defend themselves. Wolves rely on strength in numbers. Lone wolves are usually at a disadvantage in making a living. I appreciate that you've been studying for years, on the other hand little is required to size up a cat against other predators. I don't see another predator in its place warding off or killing at ease other predators. There's a video on here entitled cougar kills wolf in 10 sec - but that's slo mo.

  • Thats not a Bat- Eared Fox! Its too big! The Black- Backed Jackals are taunting and harrassing the Carcal.

  • its funny how many times you need to tell people that the caracal killed a bad eared fox

  • Indeed its funny, I am quite bussy with that but next time I will answer with, "A take away from Mc Donald's".

  • given that they're too stupid to realize that the answer to their question is like 3 inches down they may very well believe that.

  • these are jackal partners, the caracal killed their pup.

the caracal wandered in jackal territory and kill a jackal pup,

  • what was it eating? a wolf?

  • felines never are afraid to fight ....

  • jackals got pwned. and the jackals and caracal look exactly like a wolf and cougar

  • Now I want to see the footage of the caracal killing that bat-eared fox, man. Unless it's just scavenging off of it from another predator. Awesome footage nonetheless.

  • that caracal should have beasted on one of those jackals to teach them not to fuck with him

  • why do i rarely see the caracal in wild life programme? they 're cool...

  • Because they are such good hiders. They are very common, and in no way threatened, but still are one of the rarest animals to spot in the wild---

  • I saw a caracal in the middle of the day, walking down the road in Chobe, calm as you like (it obviously was not well schooled in the rules of being a caracal!) Amazing moment though. They are beautiful cats.

  • The jackals definitely know that the caracal could rip their esophagus right out! As it did to one of them. hehe...

  • i wonder what that carcas was

  • a Badeared Fox

  • Lol @ ppl trying to justify they had to "fight" and get killed somehow.

They're much smarter. Neither wants to get injured because that would be fatal, even if you get to kill your opponent, who the fuck cares, ur gonna die from your injuries

  • One on one a caracal would fuck up a jackal

  • Cool. The jackals are pretty cowardly animals by nature, and even in this video, they didn't dare go in for a killing bite. Had it been up again hyenas, or wolves, the cat would have had to flee

  • Would be self-defeating for a jackal to kill the caracal. They're just trying to harass it away from a good meal with hopes it will go kill something else to share again later.

  • What was the carcal eating? is he dead before he was trying to eat it? or he killed it?

  • it was otocyon...bat-eared fox...Dog like jackal, but smaller than jack... :-)

  • typically canids have lethally powerful bite force. caracals, for their size, have amongst the strongest jaws relative to their size (200-300 psi/ 40 lb), stronger than the jaguar (600-700psi/ 250-350 lb) and bengal tiger (800-900psi/ 500 lb). not to mention the 1.5 inch claws.

this cat's weaponry more than outmatches the swift yet relatively unarmed jackal.

  • Caracal win

  • that caracal wasnt backing down at all, great video.

  • jackals eating foxes ?! sounds like almost-cannibalistic !!!

  • Caracal is the win

  • Hellow, oké, thank you for the information, I just thought it could be a hyena, but it's not, thnx :)

  • The caracal is eating a hyena. A caracal or 2 jackhals could not kill a hyena, so it must be dead already.

  • that's very annoying, imagine someone is pinching your ass while you're eating!

  • i think the caracal was eating a jackal, look at it.

  • lol funny shit the jackles are playing with the caracal... nipping him in the butt when he isnt looking. hahaha

  • Great video.

  • wat is bigger a caracal or lynx?

  • Depends which one you're talking about, there are 4 different lynxes if you include the bobcat which is part of the lynx family. Female Caracals are bobcat/Spanish Lynx size, male Caracals are Canadian Lynx size, but the Siberian Lynxes are huge and can take down reindeer.

  • nominay is right. siberian (eurasian) lynx can weigh up to 70 pounds for males, as large as big dogs. the caracal is typically never over 40 lb, but some lynx/bobcats are only 30-40 lb also. the strength of these animals is often underestimated, however. there was a russian case of a siberian lynx that would kill farm goats, and when the farmers sent hunting dogs to find it, they found 6 of their 8 dogs dead.

  • I love caracal, this video are very nice :)

  • this is a small scale of two wolves vs a cougar

  • how come wenevr the caracal turns to face the jackals they run away. theres two of them and they could have won a fight.

  • because you're wrong, that's why

    Berith

  • Another great video. I enjoyed the first one and the slow motion is even better! Thanks

  • Great Video. I guess that was a dead wild dog, perhaps killed by the jackals.

  • really good video
