the stock parts in the $1099 are already above almost all other stock laptop models. of course the upgrades take it to a whole new level, but the stock parts are good but if you still arent satisfied, adding an upgraded video card and processor is just about 500 extra

i got crysis working like a charm on high settings , but my comp got problems with Call of duty 4 for some reason, doesnt make sense. First play through COD 4 went smoothly, but then things started to go choppy and the game started crashing now and then, screen went into blocky squares (pixels) but whenever i play crysis , it works smooth with no problem. Is COD4 having resolution problems or is it my comp thats fucked...either way none of it makes sense to me

Do not buy alienware products. They are shit unless your willing to spend thousands. Especially do not buy a laptop from them, i've had 2 replacement video cards from both breaking, i cant run fifa 2008 on medium graphics, my keyboard has broken once and the replacement was bent.

The only thing i do like about them is there customer service, which is the one thing you'd expect me not to of had that much contact with, i'd estimate around 15 hours on the phone to them...
