@flyingplane200 im guessing you are new to minecraft well anyways you get wooden planks by putting wood logs (you get wood logs throiugh punchin trees mae sure to hold it down tho) in the 4 boxes in the top right of your inventory fill that up with planks you get a crafting table use that to make tools of any type first go with wood , to make a put 3 wood planks (cobble gold iron or diamond) with 2 sticks down the mid and mid bottom then mine some cobble do the same and build a hut or dig into..

@flyingplane200 into a mountain easier and saves resources then with some cobble go to your crafting bench and put one piece of cobble on each block except middle and you get a furnace do the same with wood planks and you get chests those are the basics good luck ( if you play classic version [free no day night cycle or mods and infinite resources] none of this will work
