Thanks so much! Yeah, ambient morning overcast and earth-tones...it fits!

My sitar is an inexpensive student model that a friend got from Lark In The Morning in San Francisco...great shop and excellent website by the way. I traded a $120 drum machine for it when he had to give up his music room to make room for a new baby on the condition that I keep it and try to learn to play it, which he'd never got around to doing.

All in all a pretty good deal...and HIS idea!

Yep it's real. And the frets are tied on with string. I've got them arranged in something vaguely like a chromatic scale with frets 8 and 10 missing but other arrangements are possible. It's a fun but challenging instrument to be sure!

Aww...THANK YOU! I'm trying to get better and more creative with video and it just makes sense to try it with music videos since that's more of a known quantity for me. Besides, music videos have a higher tolerance for video artsiness!
