@powershift50 Its pretty simular to the eddie bauer edition or the limited edition explorer. its got leather seats V8 4x4 and a northland decals on the sides.. the northland edition F150 i saw had a northland edition Emblem on it that looked way awesome. so far i have never heard of anyone else who has a northland explorer though.

@powershift50 I really wanna do some mods to the engine but havent really had the money for it yet, iv done minor cosmetic mods like euro tail lights, halogen headlights, and neon lighting in the interior. I'd really like to beef it up, a lift kit or something would be awesome i think. I use to want to put a small snowplow on it cuz i saw a S10 that had a little plow on it, but mechanics at my work said that would be a bad idea cuz most explorers have weak suspensions aparently.
@djrucker420 No snowplows for the Explorer, or any Explorer I could say cause the original manual says "Explorers should never be used to snowplow" for safety reasons.
@djrucker420 The only thing I have done so far is a K&N air filter. After January I am going to do a full exhaust on the truck with a Mac muffler. I was listening to different sound clips on youtube and (in my opinion) I think that the Mac muffler sounds the best. I was underneath the truck looking at the factory exhaust and it just looks so restrictive the way it is designed so I'm hoping to get a little something out of that.

yes.did you also know they made an XP6explorer?? The funny thing about that is, because it was entirely a mistake. Saleen had ordered a batch of Explorers in 1998 for transformation into an XP8, however, some 6 cyl Explorer XLT's were thrown into the batch. instead of sending them back which would result in lost time and money for Saleen, they decided to outfit the six cylinder Explorer XLT's ino a 6 cylinder model.. shitty thing is, you cant buy Saleen parts for it anymore. That ended in 2001.
The 41,000 price tag for one of these back when you could order them really wasn't a bad deal. Now the resale value on these have been sky rocketing because they were soo rare.

Saleen had ordered a batch of Explorers in 1998 for transformation into an XP8, however, some 6 cyl Explorer XLT's were thrown into the batch. instead of sending them back which would result in lost time and money for Saleen, they decided to outfit the six cylinder Explorer XLT's ino a 6 cylinder model.. shitty thing is, you cant buy Saleen parts for it anymore. That ended in 2001.
