  • doesnt start anymore. take a seat on the bench bitch!

  • @edog59,

Galippo is way better than Kennard. If it weren't for that referee not blowing the whistle after the play because he forgot how to do his job, Galippo would be one of the top linebackers in the draft this year. Kennard couldn't tackle at Stanford, Oregon, or Oregon State. He is one of the most overrated players in college football.

  • @edog59 take a seat on your couch fagstick. watch him ball out this year

  • an average linebacker not consider as a good linebacker.

  • Uh huh.... Average. That's why he was ESPN's #1 recruit in the country coming out of high school and was just named to the midseason All-American team along with Brandon Spikes and Eric Norwood. He's ok, nothing special.

  • i hope he's improved a lot, which i'm sure he has (USC's coaching staff is rediculous)...because he blows in that "highlight" reel

  • How does someone "blow" in a highlight reel? What was he supposed to do, strip every ball and return it for a TD? That was one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

  • my bad for assuming that a usc recruit should have better hallmark plays than any other high school football player. im sure hes good, usc is recruiting him....you can't even argue that the highlight reel should have just been called reel

  • take those blinders off hater. watching that reel shows why he came out as a 5star, top 3 LB in the nation out of HS. He also won MVP honors of the Army All American game

  • They could have shown the helmets he knocked off or the plays where he sent guys to the hospital.... but this is a recruiting video. You think coaches care about who can knock a helmet off or who can pursue sideline to sideline?

  • I'm sure he'll get some reps. He's too good not to. If Rey Mauluga wasn't there he'd definitely start, but he can't hit like Rey and he doesn't strike fear into opponents like Rey. Galippo would start at any other D1 program, but he happens to be playing behind Rey.

  • Well also take into consideration he hasn't had the chance to build the reputation Rey has. Rey's a great player, and of course Chris will sit behind him, but I don't think the "lack of" intimiation factor plays much of a roll. He's just hasn't got the reps. 2009 though he's going to make a HUGE splash

  • Consideration taken. He needs to stay healthy, most importantly, because he is legit, no doubt. But, Rey has a presence when he's on the field. Rey needs work on fundamental reads, but he can produce the "highlight" hit or play...Chris is "textbook", great of course, but not someone who'll make you say, "OOOHHHHWEEEE". Excellent player though.

  • if u guys think this guy is good u should check out arthur brown "the assassin"....dude is a beast.

  • yeah right fuck LSU FIGHT ON

  • Lol you're comment means shit now... They might be the top cat, but USC's the top TEAM as far as consistency.

So how'd you LSU fans like going 7-5 this season?

  • Agreed. I'm not the biggest USC fan, to say the least, but they never lose more than two games a year, at the most. If they could actually learn to take every game seriously (Stanford, OrSU) they would be national title every year. I think the only team similar is Florida.

  • chris is my cousin and he is the nastiest linebacker i have ever seen, i have a feeling that he'll win the bednarick award during his tenure at USC

  • Hey, just trying to figure out if your being honest because Chris is my cousin. Are you possibly related through my aunt (chris' mom)? I just don't want to say much in the open here, so send me a message.

    Dylan Galippo

  • chris galippo is the greatest LB to ever play highschool football

  • that fool is just a monster, man i wish i had that power.

  • FIGHT ON!

  • with him mcknight and tyler thats many national titles 2 come. USC all the way

  • don't forget ronald johnson too, i just watched his highlight tape and he looks like a clone of desean jackson.

  • galippo is the real deal. best of luck to him at USC and look forward to seeing him in the NFL. maualuga, cushing, and now galippo... thats a pretty badass group of linebackers, the best set of LB's in the country. yeaahh go trojans!!

  • great closing speed for a MLB

  • Now this guy is amazing

  • He is Legit... he plays out with the toughest competition in Cali maybe even the country

  • Dont get too crazy.. They got a tough division though With OLu, Canyon, etc.. But in the country?

  • maybe thats goin a little far but you cant deny he is legit the only knock on him is his speed but i think thatll get better

  • Another Great Linebacker for S.C ... FIGHT ON!

  • Gallipo certanly has the speed and great size but will probably geat bigger and faster. Great potential

  • Gallipo is the next great one!!!

  • Galippo looks like AJ Hawk flying around out there.
