You don't need a mic to enjoy online. Have you ever played with a bunch of twelve year olds online on Halo? With all the prepubescent voices naming cuss words that don't makes sense with each other? A microphone will be coming for the wii upon the release of the new Animal Crossing, but I don't know how many people would bother to get one, and who for that matter.

Games do not need mics, and shouldn't rely on online to entertain the player.

Aye it all boils down to opinion among other things. Honest truth you can't even judge which console is "better" based on the sales either. Its going to sound stupid but hear me out. What I mean is Sales don't always equal the "better" system, it only shows better marketing of the company, and how many people bought into the hype. No matter what people will always play the games they prefer, in which there are no wrong decisions

The sadder truth is that no matter how good a company is at making games, they can still fall. That is why the Dreamcast was shut out, and Sega stopped making systems. If sales were determined solely on how great the games were, than the Wii would still be on top followed by PS3, than 360.

It's a good thing Nintendo is winning the War with sales, because if they stopped, I'd probably stop playing games as every shooter on the Playstation consoles would be more boring than the next. My opinion

I'll admit I'm not too impressed with the Wii, but to be fair I've not really had a chance to play one. And the one time I did the console was malfunctioning due to the person not taking care of it. As for PS3 or 360, I don't have a 360 and I'm happy with my Ps3 at the moment. but yeah like I said everyone has their own personal opinion, and preference and I respect that :)

My first console of this generation was the Wii a year and a half ago. And six months ago my brother got us the PS3. I don't own a 360, but I have the chance to play it quite often at a friends house. Some good games, but not much that aren't on the PS3.

I've enjoyed my Wii much more than the PS3 this whole time up until I got MGS4, and the two most recent COD games. I haven't gotten a new Wii game in months and only have some VC games to play. I've been playing PS3 a lot more recently.

Yes, everybody has opinions. And mine pretty much has changed until I'm bored with COD. Metal Gear Solid 4 is amazingly good. The Wii doesn't have many games coming for it besides a new House of the Dead, and a new Punch-Out. We might also pick up the new Dead Rising port for the Wii just because we were never able to get the game. I don't really know what's coming for the PS3 either.

I was like that when I got the Wii on release and eventually bought a 360 a day after Halo 3's release. It's not that the Wii is a bad console it's just blatantly obvious that the Wii is aimed at younger kids. I'm assuming your a teenager if not older and it was only a matter of time til' you began craving games aimed more at a mature audience. Lol, but even with my now hacked Wii and the the ability to download and burn any Wii game I want, I still prefer my un-hacked Xbox 360 overall.

The Wii is aimed at families. A point proven by Nintendo themselves. They know that if they get kids into Mario, they'll continue to buy Mario for years to come. It's a marketing technique, I just wish they spend more time making first party titles and not crappy Wiiware titles every week. They're getting new gamers, but losing the old ones. And the worst part is, I have the idea that they know this, and don't care because of how much they'll make in the future.

I think we all know that their well aware of the fact that their scaring all their core fans away. They've always been for the core, all the way up the Gamecube at least. I to, wish they supplied more for their core fans while also appealing to a new audience. But so far, what their doing has proven to be very successful. I just hope their next home console while up to par with Microsoft's and Sony's consoles, gaming and hardware wise. But for now their just for the kiddies...and old folks. -_-

There's still time to atone for the Wii's sins if that's what you're worried about. We have two more Mario games on the way as well as an awesome looking Metroid that will take the series in a new direction like in the Prime games. But as far as the "core" games, I really don't mind another Mario or metroid. But goddamnit, where is our Starfox where we point where to shoot? Where's our next Kirby game? Where's an awesome new Kid Icarus that utilizes motion control for bow and swords?

Well FFXI has already been released on the Xbox 360. But as for the 2 games that Sqaure Enix announced, they are Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Ramnent. As of now, there are no FF games that are comming to the Xbox 360. But I believe that SE will release a FF game on the Xbox 360 some time in the future.

I myself am no longer concerned with the console wars. I used to be a nintendog. Then I also joined the playstation cult. I didn't trust Xbox cuz it was Microsoft, but now, since I got a 360 for my birfday, I'm not gonna take sides. Playstation lies to us with hawtness graphics that are really just cut scenes, but most square-enix RPGs will be on PS3, so lets all just mourn the losses of the ill-fated Sega Consoles
