That's a really nice rig dude!! Is that a ga_m57sli_s4 gigabyte motherboard? I've got mine since a pretty long time and i've got to say that is the best fot its price :) Good Luck
yea, i was hoping to get vista, maybe extreme edition, il do that when i build my new rig, cause i want to got SLI or Tri-sli with new quad core processor- im saving up lol
Vista is well worth the money... If you Purchase Ultimate you can use Windows own latency reduser as well loool
Your computer is really pooh... 4GB is poor; but don't get me wrong I am sure that it can Play a really large amount of games, that is what you aim to do isn't it?
yea..i know..i only have 2gb in at the moment..lol, yea 400mhz ddr2 (800mhz effective speed) 3.25 is the max recognised by windows and i thought how it would work with max ram..it was ok..but im down to 2gb until i buy vista64.
If you run 667 with 800 it will underclock to lowest speed of sticks. You could run just the 800s when benching and all 4 set at 667 or whatever the clock can get to and set timings accordingly.
Must get 64-bit and Vista will be worth it but drivers are hard to get I heard.
the problem is i have not found anywhere in the BIOS to set the ram frequency..and the only software available tells you what the speed is..not to mod it..
GeIL Ultra Low is really good RAM. I currently have 2GB and I'm buying 2 more for a 64-bit operating system I just got! Woo!

have tried running at lower latency.
ive been able to run corsair XSM2 at cas latency of 3 and 3 but still in development.
here check out the message i sent you it tell you how ram timings works.
i copy pasted it from somewhere deep on internet :) enjoy and experiment.

Ram isnt essential for gaming
4GB is perfect for gaming as
long as it is ddr2 at least

your ram runs at 400mhz.
you should have known to install 3gb.
it will run faster with 2gb of 400mhz
rather than 3.25gb of 333mhz
i would have bought a core2 but there really fucking hot.
i mean 60,C idle.
