I work at Waltham Point, and the reason for the mess is that Sainsburys employ a lot of foreign agency (eastern europeans) workers at £7 an hour and give a bonus on how much they pick. Boy, you should see those blokes move just for another £10 a shift. They don't give a shit as long as the stuff gets into the cages.
I thought this was supposed to be the most advanced depot system in the country? That "pick on receipt" was just crap really!! Millions lost again eh?
why did sainsburys ever have a dept in birmingham any way? they are all bone idle
