@Bastiest I don't know which movie or tv (I don't have a television) live action story it is but there's that same phony gripe the writer's produced for the characters about their super powers. Lame and hard to believe.

Father has invulnerability and can hump for miles, mother has speed beyond super sonic, daughter can read minds and son becomes a genius. Daugter bitches about being able to read minds. Son complains he's an idiot.
When I used to watch this as a kid back in the mid 60s, I never noticed what thick New York accents the kids who are singing the theme song had. It really jumps out at me now.
