James made the right choice, the "eastern schismatics" are also heretical, they approve contraception and condom use which send millions to hell everyday. The Catholic Church is the ONLY Church in the world against contraception, because its the ground and pillar of truth, and God will be with His Church until the consummation of the world.

Mr. Likoudis ,and his like, are Roman apologists, set on perpetuating the myth of Papal infallibility. All this is based on the verse in Matthew 16:15-20. The dialogue between Jesus Christ and Peter, where Jesus is testing Peter's faith in Him, Jesus being the Rock. The Eastern Patriarchs looked at Rome as,"first amongst equals".No bishop dominating or having total control. This was the early church, Jesus Christ being the Head Bishop. The Church being Catholic(universal-whole) and Apostolic.

I haven't heard or experienced any Romaphobia in Eastern Orthodoxy, but just the opposite...The 'Hard Heads' you speak of are the ones in full understanding of the schism, and, too, pray for a reuniting, but only if Rome renounces it's progressive doctrine, sticks to the original Ecumenical Councils, and renounces Popes and those following who have gone against Ecumenical Church Dogma. I can't imagine the RCs would want to take that giant leap back any time soon.
