It is a bloody great game. I'm from Wales and bought this while in the US a few weeks ago. Trust me I was amazed at how detailed the graphics were & the gameplay.

Between those 3 it's hard to tell because the Bigs 2 is completely unrealistic with 120mph fastballs and 600ft homeruns, but between The Show 09 and 2K9, The Show 09 is definitely better.
The Pirates will most likely move Delywnn Young to second base once Freddy Sanchez is traded, Garrett Jones will move to first and they'll probably recall Lastings MIlledge to play Left. Video dude. 09 Runs just smooth as 08 did if not better. I think the animations in 09 look a lot smoother than 08. I mean it's only opinion but I agree with Philliesfan377 - it's just the video.
The only way is to create a season/franchise and change the option of the fantasy draft to be ON. Other than that you cannot create a team. However, you can create your own player and take him through the minor leagues with one day, hopefully, making it to the big leagues.
have played both games and 2k9 is not even in the same planet as the show!!! it is insane how much better the show is then 2k9! 2k sports needs to just give the hell up with their rocky unrealistic game play and their players and fans that look more like aliens then people! if you like cartoon graphics and a bug infested crappy game go with 2k if you like a realistic great game that makes you think your in the ball park every time then go with the show!
Great video. I'm a huge baseball fan but since I only own a 360, I'm forced fed MLB 2K9. I previously owned a PS2 and had alot of fun playing the Show and now I can see it's even better these days. IMO, it'd be worth buying a PS3 just to experience this game.

09 the show is just amazing, plus i like baseball because of the strategy, unlike football where they have 50 coordinators working together before each play just for a lousy 4 yard pick up. I'll take mlb 09 thank you.

It is a bloody great game. I'm from Wales and bought this while in the US a few weeks ago. Trust me I was amazed at how detailed the graphics were & the gameplay.
It isn't an easy game to play & that's part of the fun of playing this.

It's frustrating for us Brits who love Baseball but can't play it on our PS3's. Just wish the US would release more US sport game here.

Between those 3 it's hard to tell because the Bigs 2 is completely unrealistic with 120mph fastballs and 600ft homeruns, but between The Show 09 and 2K9, The Show 09 is definitely better.

The Pirates will most likely move Delywnn Young to second base once Freddy Sanchez is traded, Garrett Jones will move to first and they'll probably recall Lastings MIlledge to play Left. Moss in right, Cruz or Bixler at shortstop and LaRoache at third. Doumit will remain catcher. and McCutchen will play center field.

That will most likely be your pitching rotation. They'll most likely deal Yates and Grabow as well, maybe even Capps.

point there but i saw the pirates giants game few days ago and every time mccutchen went up to bat he would hit it at the warning track but aaron rowand had enough time to catch every single hit so mccutchen went 0 for 4 now if mccutchen could perfect an upper cut swing hed be hitten homers like no other cuz he got center field warning track hits with a normal swing =)

This game is better than sliced bread and I love it more than Joanie loves Chachi. But MLB Power Pros 2009 is just as good and isn't being released statewide and we're trying to get people to sign an online petition to get 2K's attention. The only way is to create a season/franchise and change the option of the fantasy draft to be ON. Other than that you cannot create a team. However, you can create your own player and take him through the minor leagues with one day, hopefully, making it to the big leagues.

have played both games and 2k9 is not even in the same planet as the show!!! it is insane how much better the show is then 2k9! 2k sports needs to just give the hell up with their rocky unrealistic game play and their players and fans that look more like aliens then people! if you like cartoon graphics and a bug infested crappy game go with 2k if you like a realistic great game that makes you think your in the ball park every time then go with the show!

Great video. I'm a huge baseball fan but since I only own a 360, I'm forced fed MLB 2K9. I previously owned a PS2 and had alot of fun playing the Show and now I can see it's even better these days. IMO, it'd be worth buying a PS3 just to experience this game.
