People spread ashes on every ride all the time, it's nothing to be scared of. You know they actually hire people just to clean it up? Besides, who would want to be stuck hearing those theme songs for the rest of eternity.

to me,the creepiest mk hm story was the disembodied drum.appearently,a worker was closing up the ride,and decided to walk around the mansion.thats when he heard a faint drumming.he looked for hours,but never found where it came from.i guess he got so scared that he resigned the next day.but about six times every year,workers here the same drum,but never find it

@coustonproduction Well, not at midnight, but I was on by myself at night. The line was dead (no pun intended) and I was taking my little brother on. Before we went on the elevator, he got scared, and left through the chicken exit. I took advantage of no one being there and went on my own elevator. It's really cool, but insanely creepy.

Judging by how the family are all wearing those rain tarp thingys, and a raindrop is visable at one point and the ground is wet, I would have to say everyone else decided to call it an early night in the Disney park. Also being the fact that it is midnight and the park closes at midnight, I believe they are just some of the last riders of the night and that is why it is so dead in the park in this video.

@asm0586 The Haunted Mansion IMO is very scary. The environment, characters, the story and stories. It's not fun, loud, and colorful like other rides at Disneyland. It's nothing compared to Halloween Horror Nights. HHN is indeed terrifying, but this is a different type of scare: That same scare you you get when you walk down a really long dimly lit hallway... Hearing voices when you're alone. Not the chainsaw clowns chasing you-type of scare xD

I`ve never seen The Magic Kingdom so empty. The loneliness gives the area around Haunted Mansion abit more creppy atmosphere.

Seriously, being in a park you usually encounter crowded being so empty, it changes the way you see it completley.

But it could have been the rain, I noticed the floor in the outside wet, and the last time I went, they closed at 11:30 because of the rain. The rain sucked partly, and when my dad + bro go on, I wait by the candy store on the rocking chairs, if u see them, u know where I was!

The park closes at different times during the year. And sometimes resort guests can stay late a few hours on certain nights. In the summer, sometimes the park will close at midnight for regular guests, and resort guests can stay as late as 3 AM

Yeah, California has a Southern Plantation style mansion of Mississippi and Louisiana. The ride in both cases is underground, with most of the mansion one sees from outside being storage areas and the control center.

Haunted Mansion was made for late-night rides! The last time I got to go on this when it was dark outside was during Grad Nite (several years ago lol.) I cant wait to use some EMH in February and experience Haunted Mansion as it was intended: late at night when its creepiest : D Best ride ever!
