This song has the baddest break down of any song in the history of music. I'm 34 and have been looking for this song since the last time I heard it at 10 years old. I remember living in Virginia and riding in the family van on the way to a COGIC revival where my dad would be preaching, and just zoninng out as this song was playing. I got to send this to my sister.

And you're right, mass choirs were the bomb back then. Now we have praise teams, with sound awesome, but I wish there were more choirs. Luckily, Hezekiah , John P. Kee, Mississippi Mass, Colorado mass, Fred Hammond, and more still have the choirs :)

Yeah that was Kirby at the end, I first heard of Hez and LFCC at a PAW Convention around summer 87, there were about a million of em at that time and "choirs" were popular then. They blew the roof top off as well Kirby sang "Spirit, touch me one more time", bent backwards to belt all that he had out under the auspicious power of God! Apostolic still exists, and the promise God made to Hez, still exists!

Kirvy Brown tore those songs up ("The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow" & "Spirit"). Hezekiah Walker did a remake of the song but Kirvy's version is still the best. It's a classic!
