I was first introduced to Rembrant while touring the Rembrant House Museum in Amsterdam. I was so impressed and amazed with his etchings that I became and instant fan. I enjoyed this video.
Well, at least this time youtube put something classical in the spotlight. But your vid is pretty dry.
You are about to get a lot of hate comments. I wonder why people don't private their videos when YT puts them in the spotlight? Oh thats right, because hate attention is better than no attention...
This looks like reading a dictionary and you should work on the presentation as well. The blue back ground makes it look amateurish. Try spreading the screens.
The narration was too wikipediaesque. Nothing sounds personalized or articulated with independence. The blue background cheapens the effect of the screenshots of the art work. Your voice-over delivery is a bit robotic.
very well done, you should do videos on all the masters. Your good at this!

So magnificent, wonderful and splendid was the genius of Rembrandt, I sometimes wonder: who was this God who walked amongst us?

Thanks everyone for your comments. Figures that a bunch of people would see this while I was gone.

This should have been far more in depth and technical with your own personal insights.
Why not concentrate on one painting and show his artistic genius and then demonstrate how his personal life affected the painting?
As it stands, you say his paintings hold these qualities and then don't show how! I can't believe this became a featured video.
