Was looking at this actual kit at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto about eight hours ago !!! A beautiful kit played by a great drummer ( a guy that has inspired so many drummers including moi ). Im not into the comparison b.s. neither. Also Kudos to Mike Portnoy, Phil Collins,Tony Williams, Billy Cobham, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Steve Gadd, Carl Palmer,Mike Mangini, etc, etc, They all bring something different to the table. God Bless them for that.

when it comes to doing intros for sports, no one does it better than Canada! Period! I had my doubts when CTV/TSN "stole" the beloved Hockey Theme from the CBC, figured they woudl ruin it but...after listening to Neal Peart's version for this season, I am very very impressed! the way Peart's drumwork works well together with the footage and the band in the backdrop, TSN, this one is a keeper, don't ever change your NHL on TSN intros, ever!
