@MrTrueseventh I'm pretty positive all he did was tune the G string up to a G#
So it's E A D G#
He does his signature harmonic sweeps starting at like the 2nd fret and moving down all the way to the 9th fret. But when he gets to the last chord of the series, he plucks the 12th fret harmonic (which remember now is the G#) and the 9th fret harmonics on the D and A strings and then an open E.
This is a major 6 add 9 chord because that G is now a G#.
The start of this is one of the most amazingly pretty sections on the whole Word of Mouth album, I wonder if this is a short insight into how he composed? (not sure if it is, or if it's just a solo).... nevertheless, beautiful :)
Holy Cow. This is FANTASTIC. Wauuuuu. This recording bring quite new dimensions to the whiole heritage. THANK YOU, Ingrid. This is spectacular! Love P

Thanks , that's different . Almost Debussy or Takemitsu like harmonies . I'm thinking that the bass wasn't in regular tuning to get those voicings.
