hmm... im almost afraid to ask: im an up and coming guitar player, trying my way to make a band. all along ive never had a guitar amplifier... which guitar amplifier which is decent and economical (say $300-$500 bucks maybe?) would be suitable for me?

if it depends on what kind of music i play, well i play heavy/thrash metal at its best. i ask cause i have no fucking clue about amps

@RobertoArceCorretjer b-52's are in your pricerange. They get some pretty heavy gain but im not sure if you need more. If by chance it doesnt have enough gain for you you could always buy a pedal to push it harder. Oh and try to look for tube amps. In general they sound better (and are louder) than solid state amps
